Some time ago I updated my SR Save extension and made a few tweaks: I restructured the layout a bit, made a dedicated load button (so everyone should know from the start how to use it, unlike the set/get system), I added a button to take you back to the main menu (disabled by default) and the possibility to disable auto naming and the possibility to save all the saves you do to my server. So if your saves ever get lost (they shouldn't) or your pc crashes, looses your data or whatever, I can still give you your saves back (unless my server broke down...). To use it, you still need > Greasemonkey installed<, so do it, restart Firefox and then > click here< to install it. *edit* A small version update to reflect minor changes in the Dan-Ball layout.

Interesting, I'm actually using it right now. To be honest though, I'm not using the save/load function for it, mainly because I used the get/set function. I have a .txt file full of codes.

By the way: This also works without having an account on Dan-Ball. But you still can't use the saves between an unregistered and an registered account. So if you save with your account, logout and try to load that save, it will give you an User error.

The internal layout of the dan-Ball Websites have changed a little, so the place where I hook into the page has changed. So a little update is needed. I tried to hook it up as save as I can this time - and this is the first time it happened since I first published this extension in June 09. To update just click this link: disabld.awardspace.biz/sr_save_ext.user.jsNo harm was done to the saves!

For the record, for any mods that see this, this is an example of an okay double-post. He needed to let people know about an update.

Couldn't he have just edited it and separated the 2 posts with a __________________________?

No, he couldn't have, cause it would have still shown the date of the last post as being the previous one, so people would look at the thread, see nothing has been posted, and go away.

Not that I like chrome, but I head it has or will get greasemonkey support. Just google for it and look if youre able to install it. My quick search showed, that it might not work, and you probably had to install a beta version of Chrome, but you can still try it and report back.
*edit* With overwrite you mean, select a save and owerwrite it right? So you don't have to delete the old saves all the time. Yeah I thought about that too. I also thought about providing a tabbed interface, so you can organize your teams. But I really wonder if there is need for saving old games at all? Does anyone revert to old saves? Or should I always save the game in the same slot it was loaded from?

That's good for Chromers, certainly.
Ye, there's needs to save old games and organize teams and such, but only if you are trying something experimentally (Eg, trying different compos).
