No new stage? Again?!? Man, they really take their time... Oh well, but new weapons are always welcome. ^^ I haven't tried all of them yet but I'm sure gonna. The possibility to overwrite the Compo Items is also cool and so is the new weapon ability in the shop
I hope they're gonna do a BIG update for the 1st annual anniversary

My favorite (and most useful) bow got update :> It's not a "bow" ... it's a "shot" Well, he just made new images for the bows and now the quint shot has again a wrong one ... ;-) Level 3 weapons, year! Beretta 3 - Blue Roundhead Walker (Seaside 1) Thunder Knuggle - White Roundhead Snake (Seaside 2) Sabel 3 - Red Roundhead Snake (Seaside 2) Quint Shot 3 - White Roundhead Bat (Seaside 2) Delta Explosion 3 - Red Roundhead Bat (Seaside 2) They don't like the Priests very much. /mePS: Oh, and you don't have the word "Sabel" in English, am I right? Well, there is the German word "Säbel" which would be a "saber". But according to the stereotypes this could also be this asian R-L problem ... /me

OK, tested all of them. My opinion:
Sable 3: It's strong but I don't think it beats the elemental swords... And it doesn't look that cool XD
Beretta 3: Dito, it just looks so unspectacular... ~_~ Quite strong though... And suprisingly cheap!
Thunder Knuckle 3: Lookds cool though I wondered "another thunder glove?!?". At least the MP is not high. ^^' And it can dish out!
Quint Shot 3: Highly anticipated and finally came into being! XD It's very practical and with the right enhancement items it's very practical. Now I can take my 4 Sniper-team and go farming for items. ^^
Delta Explosion 3: Looks cool! Too bad that it only can hit one enemy at a time... But otherwise would be too similar to the priest, huh? -.,-
No new Staff?!? Hm... I think they won't publish another one, will they? On the other hand - what would be the use of another staff...
EDIT: And another very good thing about the "overwrite compo item" update: now i can equip the weapons with level 1 items without the endless loops to get the level 2 items straight ahead. ^^ Very practical especially for the Medals.

Most of the new weapons are crap, although the new bow is uber pwnage, and the gunner's new weapon isn't that bad.
The best feature for this update is the ability to override your compo items. Really useful. (Now I have three new bazookas on my 300+ attack save.)

My hobby: Thinking about new strange weapon-compo item combinations. Examples: - Delta Explosion + Guide's Card.
Yes it works. And it look funny. Well ... it seem's to have actually a positive effect ... Garnet makes it even work better.
- Delta Explosion + Bullet's Card.
Just mooooorree ....
- Thunder Knuckle + Bullet's Card.
well, can anybody tell how many attacks the Thunder Knuckle has? At least 2, because I got the impression I'm having a three-handed Boxer with Bullet's Card 1.

now, if you have already put a compo item in the slot you can replace it with another one. that means, for example, if you have a sword with the long sword card 1 and happen to get a long sword card 2 you no longer have to find another sword. you can just replace ("overwrite") it. ^^

What about the shop algorithm changed?

usually you could get (for example) the third weapon after completing the second stage. but now everything is doubled, so it is the fourth stage now. and so it's with every weapon.

Doesn't affect most of us though, right? I find Bullet 2+ Guide 2 to be the best Delta explosion. And Catapult 2 and Critical 2 is the best Beretta.

usually you could get (for example) the third weapon after completing the second stage. but now everything is doubled, so it is the fourth stage now. and so it's with every weapon. Not only with weapons. It's also true for compo items now. If you head directly to the village without beating any other stage you can only buy 7 jewels and 7 cards. /me

I just remebered, I redicted a pattern for the updates, and hopefully, the next update would contain another stick ranger class. Ninja is what I predicted, if not, then I will recieve facepalms.

What I'd like to see instead of a ninja would be the ability to use two weapons. You really can't have a ninja without a Katina, but without the shurikens it just doesn't seem cool either. (Not to mention the depth it might add to the game.)

In Japanese l and r are interchangeable. So it's probley the R-L problem.
Sabel makes me think Sabriel.

I read that book! We don't need another class, we need to be able to swap classes, giving up our levels. Say you have a level 30 magician, you can make it a level 1 Boxer that you have to level up. It would be easy, but may take time.

but wouldn't that mean that ALL FOUR classes would be dropped down to level 1? and that would be the same as to start a complete new game except the levels which are unlocked... but there is no much use in the later levels if you are level 1, so...

Yes! There is no such thing as a "character level". You can't have one character at a different level, than the others. It's a "player level" or "team/party level", and all characters always have the same level and experience.
Changing this would probably have a too huge impact on the whole game. I don't think that the characters do collect a roughly equal amount of EXP. Just think about Grassland 1 with the snakes. There is no way that a sniper, magician, gunner or priest would get an equal amount of EXP than Gladiator or Boxer at this stage.

True... I hadn't thought of that. I said level one for fairness, but maybe we can just swap out all weapons? It would be kind of cheap, but...
