*Diplomats were now in place in Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Japan, and China, although it seemed that a nonja fighter also went to China. China would be tough to get now, and considering its large population, it was very vital.
Meanwhile, the elite aerial force was closing in on Florida. The nonja fighters would have no chance once those fighters and bombers arrived.*

The Pie:
He saw us. He's arranged all of his armies around his central city, and shows no sign of clearing up. It was time to complete the most risky part of the plan. Several of the representatives approached the nearest Nonja army, waving a white flag of peace. It was time to "arrange" something here.
Fortunately, however, Indonesia and some surrounding areas decided to accept my alliance. I sent them further up to the Indochina area, and further west to the New Zealand area. I had to establish a strong alliance in that area.
________:
Taking over much of Central America was easier than I believed it would be. I enforced my usual set of rules there: Join the Nonja army, or training for the Nonja army, or they could join that special sectioned off part of New Nonja Base, and not as a security nonja. This was even more extreme than a draft; it would supply me with many, many nonjas and several armies. The Pie didn't stand a chance. The unwritten rule, of course, was that the people could go into hiding. I would get those hiding nonja fighters eventually. Nobody can escape induction into the Nonja Army, as either
The Pie's army was coming down, but seemed to be hesitating. When he sent someone to negotiate, I assumed he was ready for surrender. This was good. I could always use more people to test new torture methods on.

* Mongolia and Kazakhstan seemed pleased with the idea of alliance with the nonjas, and Veers didn't even need to mention the alternative option. He hadn't heard back from the diplomat in China, however, since negotiations were still in progress. If China was won by the nonja fighters, the world would pretty much be doomed to fall to nonja fighters. The large population in China meant large armies, and if it became a military society, it alone would have more forces than the IPN alone...* "How are the negotiations?" "We managed to contact Kazakhstan and Mongolia, and they seem to be ready for a nonja alliance, Lord Veers. The news is not official - they have yet to sign the documents and make the alliance official. Japan, on the other hand, is officially a nonja nation. Things are quite tense in China, what with two opposing diplomats, and we have not yet heard from the PNC." "Notify ______ immediately - he will want to know of the successful conversions. Also warn him about the Chinese Status." "Yes, Lord Veers." * He makes contact with _____ and tells him about the various diplomatic conditions.* "Once the diplomats are ready, send them to the Ukraine and to China. I need to sway China; if the one diplomat already there can't get it to join, hopefully the others will. I also need to get Europe to start building an army against Great Britain." * General Veers sends the successful diplomats to China when they finish their visit with Mongolia and Kazakhstan, and he sends another diplomat to the Ukraine.* "Lord Veers." "Yes?" "I have received word that our air force has sights on the invading nonja fighters. They are asking to engage." "They're over nonja territory. Well, it's better than engaging them over neutral territory, especially the US, so give them the green light." "Very well, Lord Veers." * Alpha 001 contacts the leader of the aerial force above New Nonjaland and gives him the green light. The aerial force begins striking against the army, shooting down any enemy aircraft and bombing any ground hostiles.*
Pending: - Official Kazakhstan alliance
- Official Mongolian alliance
- Official Chinese alliance
- Battle of New Nonjaland
- Transport of diplomat to Ukraine
- Negotiations with PNC

I'm joining...
Team: Nonja Fighter, recently allied with Australia in secret, very secret...
Country: Belgium China
Current Leader: Memzak (duh...) Capital: Memzakia (which is Bejing just renamed)
Currently Doing: Sending a message to japan asking them to be annexed by china and abandon their alliance with the nonja's. Due to our anti-war policy we won't attack them to conquer, but I think that war may be the only way.
I'm also declining Russia's request for an alliance with no reason other than China doesn't want to fight in the war. (which is a massive lie)

"Lord Veers, a ruler has just taken control of China as a nonja fighter, and he's calling off the negotiations!" "**** it, get the diplomats out of there now! Send them to Germany and India! Send the two western forces into Japan and help them to resist China! I can't afford to lose all of Asia and Europe!" * Diplomats are evacuated from China and sent to Germany and India. ICBMs are set up from central IPN, well away from Moscow, and aimed to the Chinese capital.*

The boats arrive quickly at the Greenland capital: Nuuk. Matti's plan is to first send a person to negotiate and ask for an alliance, and if they do not agree, then they will attack. Simple enough. He sends the negotiator on his way.

* The diplomats arrive, and the ICBMs are set up. The East armies arrive in Japan to protect it from China. The ICBMs, if they had to be based off existing Russian missiles, have a range of 15Mm (i.e. 15000km). Since this is 2050, these missiles will have increased speed to Mach 2. This will let them reach from Moscow to Beijing in less than 2.5 hours, or from central Russia to Beijing in slightly more than 1 hour. This would also permit the ICBMs to go from central Russia to Canberra in 4.8 hours.*

-switching to first person-
After a long time waiting, the negotiator still hasn't arrived. I decide to go out with five other nonjas to see what's keeping him. We disembark off the ship and walk to the local town, only to find a hundred guns pointed at our heads, protruding from windows, doors, behind rocks and cars. One of the armed assassins walks towards us. He says to follow, and to keep our hands on our heads. Three other assassins follow from the rear. At an empty clearing, the leader blindfolds us, and knocked unconscious. When I'm awoken, I find I am alone in a room with no windows. I search my pockets, only to find that they've taken all my belongings. I was about to look around for a way out when a man entered the room.

@veers
Kazakhstan accepts, Mongolia accepts, Ukraine denies, India denies, Germany accepts.
_______:
The attack on the nearby English forces was over quickly. However, oddly enough, the small group of negotiators proceeded toward one of my armies. They went into a tent with one of my generals for negotiation, then afterwards, all but one of them left and ran toward the nearest abandoned city, where they went into hiding. That one was led out by the general some time later, a prisoner of war. Strangely, the general's accent seemed to change during this time, but I'm sure it was nothing. I summoned him to New Nonja Base to explain the negotiations. I also invited the Russian forces in, if they wished to rest before their return to Russia, or wherever they were needed. I contacted Veers, alerting him of our victory. I also sent a diplomat up to the US to arrange the purchase of some nuclear weaponry. Hopefully, this will end in nonja control of the entire world, but we cannot be certain.
The Pie:
The battle had ended quickly. I was not expecting this army to succeed, at any rate. At least not too many of them had become prisoners of the nonjas.
However, the second phase of the plan was successful, for now at least. Hopefully, ______ wouldn't figure it out until it was too late. I took a leaf from my grandfather's book in this plan.

"Sir!" "Lieutenant?" "Broad range transmission, Sir. From Russia. Or, well-" "Yes, the IPN." "Yessir." "Patch it to my VISR, Lieutenant. And radio Shipyard Sixteen. Tell them to prepare six frieghters. And four destroyers, I think this one could be a little tougher." "Yessir."
** I opened the message. It was encrypted, but hardly. As the data unscrambled, the message became clear; General Veers, the man now in control of what was Russia, wanted our help. Well there was no chance in hell that he truly needed it, and I wasn't quite ready to be taking sides. I would have to have a responce arranged. **
"Lieutenant Major." [The Major in charge of Naval Disbatch responded with a swivel on the heel and a crisp salute] "At ease. I want the Sixty-Fourth Armored and the Twenty-Second Aireal Armor to report to Shipyard Sixteen. By Rail. Tell them we're visiting Greenland."
** As I walked over to the Tac-Map that lined one of the walls of the data-center that was showing all of the most recent intel on the situtation at hand, it appeared someone had already taken Greenland. I didn't care who, it was going to be a Phoenix Territory for the duration of these wars. However, the occupying force had not claimed a side. I wanted Greenland before someone rolled in and changed its name. **
[ I have the Lieutenant return the General's message. We are not taking action by our own will, but would be more than willing to engage for the right price. ]
RECAP
>> The exact location of the PMC is unknown
>> We are sending two battalions to Greenland, they should be there in 18 Hours >> Thats two dots - the Destroyers are escorts, not capable of land warfare, and so do not count
>> We are willing to operate within the General's wishes, for the proper price. He is now aware of this.

"Lord Veers, ____ informs you that the battle was a success. I also have word from some of the diplomats." "Ah, very well, but how did the negotiations go?" "Kazakhstan accepted." "Good." "Mongolia accepted." "Good." "Ukraine denied." "Hmm...I guess I will leave it be until nonja fighters go near it..." "Germany accepted." "Good..." "India denied." "Well, it looks like only the bordering nations will become satellite nations. I will have to take out the nonja fighter nations and recruit the rest of Europe. Send the diplomats to France, Spain, Poland, Italy, and Finland. I would send a diplomat to Ireland, but I don't want the British taking down his transport and killing him. That would start a war, and that would quickly expand to Mutually Assured Destruction." * Diplomats go to France, Spain, Poland, Italy, and Finland. The overseas army rejuvenates and resupplies at New Nonjaland. General Veers sees the reply from FoxtrotZero. Well, he was definitely a mercenary nation, but that was good enough for the IPN. Veers contacts him again.* "Is there any particular price you need? What if I pay you enough to luxuriously care for your soldiers for six months, although the money wouldn't necessarily go to that purpose unless you so willed. Is that good? The IPN is a relatively prosperous empire, but it is also in the middle of intense, costly diplomatic relations. Hopefully, the amount will be enough for you to side with us for awhile..."

As soon as the man came in I nonja-chopped him and he was immediately unconcious before he could get his gun out of his holster. Taking his gun, I walked silently to the door. Looking through a window, I saw a guard right in front, facing away. I opened the door silently and pushed some specific points on his neck. Just knocked out.. For now. I look right to left and see my five other nonjas looking outside, having knocked out their guards too. I gestured for them to follow, and we went right to go up a staircase. On the way, there was a box with all my belongings, which I quickly took. I handed some guns out and we went upstairs, guns at the hips, movie style. We took out all the guards, some of them with "wtf" faces. The gang burst out the door, and found that we were on a hilltop. From here we could see the village, and we started running there. I contacted the nonjas on the ship and said to prepare for a fight.

Mutually Assured Destruction. Thats the name of a game, mate. And your RPing skills have declined.
[ The seaborne convoy was now About a third of the way to Greenland. Whatever was happening there would soon be interrupted with Two Battalions of Armored Vehicles, mainly M52 MBTs of various nature and T26 Gunships. Any resistance was sure to be swiftly crushed, far before any true defences could be set up. ]

Hm. I would like to join. I will take India. It's current name is the same, and the capital has been changed to Mumbai. If it's alright with you, the leadership of India has changed from a democracy to a more subtle form of dictatorship. All the tiny decisions are made by an elected council, but the important stuff is handled by the dictator/AI, VIROS VC (AKA VIROS Version 105). The general populace is not aware that a dictator exists, they simply believe that the council makes ALL the decisions. India is officially neutral, but it provides processed metals and minerals to both sides.

Within three hours, Greenland was in the midst of a battle. Nonjas were attacking everyone and everything, blowing up buildings and burning the ground. Greenland's defense was pathetic overall. The capital had already been taken over, and now only a few cities remained as resistance. I, meanwhile, was in a big house that had not been burned down and had been established as HQ.

"Lord Veers, there has been a coup d'etat in India. It is still neutral, but a different institution is in place. Shall we try convincing the new leader to join the Nonjas?" "Yes, send the Finland-bound diplomat to India instead...unless he's already at Finland?" "He already is, Lord Veers." "Hmm...well, send another diplomat over to India, then..." "Very well, Lord Veers." * The diplomats arrive at their destinations, except for the one who was just sent to go to India.*
