If I had to have another name, it would be Grand Moff Tarkin.
He's another Imperial officer, one with a MUCH higher rank than that of Major General. Tarkin is only four or so ranks below Emperor.

dude, chill. It's his name he can pronounce it how he likes. ...Although idk what you are arguing about anyways. Air-oh and Arrow sound EXACTLY THE SAME. WTF? Arrow does not sound like Air-oh! Air, as in the stuff we breath Arrow, as in the thing you fire from a bow Can you see the 'i' in air? That will give you a clue. |

Because some people pronounce it like Air-Oh...
