2 numbers = one answer the electrical inputs represent the numbers, and the output is the answer so a wire from 2 and a wire from 7 both inputing electric will open the 2+7 gate and go to 9...or if its multi 14. The gates just represent the math problem. so with the ten number, each number would need to connect to ten gates for the ten possible operations. That means one should have ten gates if it has 10 nums and you can multiply a num by itself, 2 would have 9 gates, 3 would have 8 gates... it would come out to 10+9+8+7+6+5+4+3+2+1=55 gates BUT 10 number had 42...how? well i quickly realized there are more problems than different answers only 42 answers when you have ten numbers(1 to 10) and you want to be able to multiply them all together 2 at a time. I just made the calc like I normally do it, but when i got to the problem 2x2 I decided to not give it its own gate...i simply connected the two wires to the wires that lead to the operation 1x4 and got the same output...that saved me a whole 13 gates.cuz i connected 2x3 to 1x6 and 2x4 to 1x8 and 2x5 to 1x10. 3x3 to 1x9 3x4 to 2x6 3x6 to 2x9...you see the connection?

i get it. there are only 42 answers, because some are the same. because the gate represents the problem, whatever it is, 2x2 and 1x4 would both use, for example, the same gate which leads out to 4.
so this means you either had complex wiring or a number of OR gates...
i will need to examine your layout. did you use OR gates, be it an actual gate or wiring with the same effect?

i hadn't thought of that. i don't know that the new update has much effect on our logic gatey-ness. WOW that sounded SO wrong...
anywho, i propse a question. How would Thunder act in Zero-G?
i don't mean simulated non gravity with fire. i mean if the coding that made things fall in PG was actually removed. Thunder would float around. if it were predicted, it could be shot HORAZONTALLY between two metal receptors, and possible even vertically. if it would reduce randomness, allowing for roughly atraight firing, then interesting things could be created, including some form of a Tesla Electric rifle.
this might also make logic gates easier should it work right, meaning that Thunder would keep a straight line and be able to make many gates more compact as well as allow AND gates to work wherever you please. I am putting this idea on the request an element board (which has wa more than elements).

Good idea, but THUNDER isn't random. Get rid of th4e block around the edges then turn on LOOP and then hold down size-0 THUNDER. Watch the continuous pattern. This works with any single spot. Even the ones that go directly diagonal. I realized that when LOOP came out. I just figured I would throw that out there.

it is simulated to be rndom, but every pixel theree is, it is coded so that thunder in this postioion moves this direction at the next frame. that is why AND gates only work in certain places
