You think your so smart but you just don't get it. We still have the ability to smell, don't we? So saying ants don't have the ability to see and comparing it to humans smelling is illogical. I'm saying that try using your nose and not your eyes to figure out where you go, and try and cover up your eyes with somethig translucent, and then use your nose ONLY to make your way around.
If you can do that, I guess ants really can see.

You still don't understand. Yes they have absolutly horrid good only for detecting like eyesight, but they can see, like we can smell.
And do you mean opaque, not translusent?I can probly navigate will looking through a translusent object.

Actually, they see worse than we can smell. we can smell an object disticntly if it really smelled, but they can't see distinctly if an object is really bright.
