except...not caring to do anything towards god isn't believing in him. and qwerty, something DID change. you came here, you found us. we're all relatively good people. count your blessings. and also, you said you prayed and went to church, but did you 'listen' for the holy ghost's guidance? if not, then praying isn't going to do you much good. it would only be a 1 way conversation with you and god. I listened for 11 years.

i respect you and your religion, but, i cant beleive this one guy just came out of nowhere. did he come from evolution? i dont know. nobody knows nothing. if i pick any religion, the odds are more than a thousand its wrong. i cant take any chances. so i agree with my choice and nothing you say will change my mind.

Just clearing up... so you're agnostic? Guys, I respect everybody's religion, but I am very strong about my religion that is not a religion.

Six months ago, I would have respected religion, but as I joined religious debates across the internet and see the theists stumble over their own words and resort to mindless insults, I lost whatever respect I had for religion (not religious people, I do respect people who fight for what they think is good).

Can you please give me the info about god not being able to exist in an infinite universe? It wasn't ALWAYS infinite. There was a time before the big bang (or whatever started it all) when there was no space-time continuum.

THAT IS FALSE!
THE UNIVERSE WAS ALWAYS THERE, THE BIG BANG WAS NOT THE ONLY COLLECTION OF MATTER TO BE FOUND, AND TIME AND SPACE WERE AND ALWAYS WILL BE INFINITE.
AND THERE'S INFINITE MATTER TOO!

God could always be infinite energy and matter packed into a finite space, with equal portions of anti-gravity and anti-radiation. These could be generated from ruptures in space to different dimensions around god, which supply a constant flow of anti-gravity and anti-radiation.
God and the devil could by in a symbiotic relationship, based off this theory. The devil being made of anti-reality and matter, which feeds off god to exist, and god feeds off the anti-gravity and anti-radiation of the devil, which also provides a reason whyt he devil is not destroyed.

Well, that sure is a proving-wrong, if yo ask me. And grandender...? What do you mean? I didn't read it very clearly.

Well, god would need the anti-gravity and anti-radiation to prevent him from collapsing/erradiating the universe around him.

THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS ANTIMATTER
If you say God is matter, that's fine with me as long as He can't control the matter.

Why do you say anti-matter does not exist?

so what I got in this "proof" is that god can't exist because we're too small to matter....um.... >_< Now I know you missed my whole 'Plan of Happiness' post, because it explains how a huge being who, yes could have bigger things to do, would care about us. and to save you from going back to see my post, it's because god loves ALL of his creations, regardless of size or complexity. plus, god is infinitely powerful. who says he couldn't multi-task and do the bigger things while still being able to focus on every little pebble on every dinky planet? cuz...he can...his power is infinite. AND in that "proof" you assumed that we are finite without proof beforehand to show HOW we are finite. we have spirits. our bodies might be finite and will break down, but our spirits are made out of the same material god's is, so how can we be purely finite while god is infinite?

Your 'spirits' are a collection or neurons in your skull.

WHY DO YOU THINK ANTI-MATTER CAN NOT EXIST?
If you don't beleive in creationism, you must beleive in anti-matter, its one of the founding principles of the big bang theory.

how do you know? have you died? have you cut yourself (or other people) open to see if the spirit = neurons in your brain and not just the main physical housing/tethering of the spirit to the body? erm...@sm^^

The 'Big Bang' theory where physics, time, and space didn't exist until 14 billion years ago?
That one's false. Everything was already there, and anti-matter wasn't.

What is your reasoning, sandmaster?

There is no reason for everything to appear at that time and place with the exact conditions.
So insead of ignoring it and just saying "God did it," I looked into it, and I believe the matter was already there, and there is an infinite amount. Just when this matter was formed in a small object so dense that the slightest movement would cause enough friction, therefore heat, therefore expansion, therefore more friction, that the object would explode.
Hence the Big Bang
