Our technology isn't great enough to investigate if there are other solar systems. There might be billions of solar systems out there that we haven't been able to see.

errr..again what? Our modern tech can find other solar systems... in fact a lot of stars have sols... the only thing is weve only found about 1/1,000,000,000,000,000 (1 quardrillionth) of our arm of the galaxy!

Of course we're not alone. If I recall correctly, they found bacteria on Mars. And the probability that there is another planet with intelligent life in an infinite universe is indisputable.

You recall incorrectly. They found traces of what may have been, at one time, bacteria, or it could have been something else. Plus the universe isn't quite infinite.

It is extremely arrogant and irrational to believe Earth is the only planet with life on it, thinking scientifically. In a universe that is so ridiculously large, it is statistically impossible for us to be the only area that hosts what we would call life. Now, if we will ever meet/find this other life is a whole other matter.

Honestly, our biology isn't anything particularly special. all a planet would really need to generate life is a lot of carbon compounds and water. I would not be at all surprised if life exists all over the place in the universe, but we are probably too far away for us to ever know it.

Well, never say ever. All we need to do is figure out a way to detect things much better.
