Well, tonight's the night I get a new lung. In twenty minutes to be exact. I'll be out for the rest of tonight and the majority of tomorrow healing up, so if you have something to say, say it now because I may not be coming back. I never realized how bad it was to be as sick as I am. I can't recall being told what was wrong with me. Oh well, I'll ask later. So, in short, please don't hate me if I go and die on you, it won't be my fault. Blame my doctors and surgeons instead. Peace out, girl scouts (for now).  |

Ladies and gents, I AM ALIVE! The king has not left the building quite yet. The so-called "Oldest member" lives on for another day.
I gotta say, it takes some getting used to haveing only one lung. I feel like a whole section of chest is missing. In fact, three and a half ribs had to be cut out to make room for the lung and the "High-pressure air exchange tube".
I just call it a breathing tube.
Ladies and gentlemen, I am now a robocyborg. I'm sure SPIRIT will be happy.

Ah well, I'm close. A year off, but not for long. (Birthday's in August)
August is still pretty far away, but at least I'm almost thirty... Didn't think I'd make it this far. Now what do I do with myself? D:

But, my last night in this dang place until I can get outta here! And, lucky me, my girlfriend is staying with me because none of the doctors gave a crap. Hurrah and such!
Also, she's bringing Taco Bell!
Also, we get to sleep next to each other in my warm and cozy hospital bed!

Taco Bell is perhaps the greatest thing I have ever tasted besides possibly my girlfriend's tongue (but we won't get into that). Bring them both together with me being otherwise incapacitated and you get smooches and tacos, an excellent combination!
