Finally! We can all draw straight lines easily! This is actually really useful.
And I guess the xy down the bottom might be useful...

This is the OPPOSITE of useful for non-artists or regular manipulators.
Something like gravity would be better. Powder game has just been getting more "Upload" updates, instead of Tinker updates.

TheListo has blessed Powder Game like never before with the advent of Rene Descartes!
We now have the Cartesian coordinate system, and we can easily create 0-slope and undefined-slope segments!
We can now easily identify a point using a coordinate pair in the formal form: (x, y). For example, "In the following code I placed the player at (0, 0)."
And we can LOAD again without the mouse!
This is, in a mathematician's personal opinion, the best PG update ever!
I unstickied the previous version and stickied 5.9.
I locked the excess 5.9 thread, although I enjoyed the thunder discussion that was going on...

It seems to me that the 5.9 Pen size 9 is larger than the 5.8 Pen size 9...

I find it useful to use the "L" shortcut again.
I also like using the line tool, I can finally erase/clear without fear.

Not only did they make the pen size bigger, but they changed the way the pen works. Before you could drag the pen across the top/bottom/side and it would leave little spaces. Now you can drag it and it instantly fills the space. (Very useful in my opinion.) I find it useful to use the "L" shortcut again. I also like using the line tool, I can finally erase/clear without fear. The line tool is so cool. I can clear without any fear. (Please continue the rhyming, I mean it.)

I locked the excess 5.9 thread, although I enjoyed the thunder discussion that was going on...From my experience with gamemaker, putting in coordinates is one of the easiest things to do. Though I'm not sure about Java, and also making straight lines is something on which I'm not sure of the difficutly, the update was pretty simple. I also don't like the pen size increase, as it keeps throwing me off Imagine you were making something for fun and you werent saving and you put in [xl]pen s 9; now you just have a big mess...

Aww, I was hoping the lines wouldn't be bound only by up/down and left/right
Also, the pen no longer has the '1 dot at a time' thing. It makes a full circle instantly. I don't like having either everything or a little line I can't control. If it could just be a different pen thing, maybe.
