New Game; Earth Editor.
Game Description: Universal gravitation field on the various dots using the earth to create a simulation game.
Genre: Earth simulation game
Game Operation: Left-click, Right-clicking
This by far is pushing our programmers to the limits. Getting the gravitational field and new elements in. [more soon to be added]
I will accept requests for elements but don't expect them to be added.

For some reason the game doesnt follow the laws of physics, so you can make planets that arn't spherical due to the fact that powder and fire instantly freeze in place as soon as it stablizes gravitationally.
I would like it so that each dot had it's own relative gravity so that planets will flatten out into a sphere shape and also so that moons can form.

Wow, it seems great! It is like powder game, but with everything going towards the center.

Right now the water falls into to place to form a sphere. We will be working on this problem, thanks for your input.

I would still like the relative gravity idea, so that moons can form, with tides too.
I would also suggest metals, rock and atmosphere elements.

I know half the things I am going to suggest are going to be pretty difficult to do. I script myself, but I don't really know what you use to make flashgames, I know I should, but i don't. Anyways: Each dot to have it's own center of gravity and that gravitational pull increases depending on the number of consecutive dots next to it. In fact they should just take that center gravity point out although I am sure its intergrated into the script. So that that the dots atract each other depending on where they are located and how far from other dots. The whole gravity thing will pull those together and thus make your planet. Thats how things work in the real world, but I can dream it on this game. Ozone layer which helps support life, plants, people. etc if we ever get that stuff. Just about Any element from powder game works excluding some of the more unrealistic ones. I know ths is stupid, but I made it up on the spot: two species that fight and kill each other when thye meet. That one makes me laugh.
That about sums it up for now, otherwise it is still a fun and addicting game. Like most others that dan-ball has created.
Edit: I didn't read through any other posts, but I realized some other people have the same idea, I just put mine in greater detail. All the same I suppose, that just means that it is needed that much more.

This is to go with Obsidian's species idea
Moon: A tool that creates rock around a new gravity point made out of rock. can support aliens.

This is probably way too much to ask, but if you could make a moon particle with it's own gravity that would attract stuff and form a planet like the starting one, but that also was itself attracted by the starting planet's gravity, that would be really cool.

If it was ran by Flash the game could be stolen using a .swf. And we are actually working on this "somewhat".

Hey. This is my first post. I'm at work, and I don't have time to register an account yet. But I will, eventually.
TheListo; I'm pretty sure that "your" game can still be stolen somewhat easily... Once I register an account, I'll PM you with the details so I don't give anyone any ideas. But in the mean time... Can you prove to me that you in fact work on the Earth Editor? I'm not sure how you could prove it right now, but... Some sort of proof would be awesome.

I cannot provide you with any sort of proof. If I were to release the code of the game many people would be able to copy it and make their own.
What kind of proof do you need? But I don't own the game, I helped make the game and other features.

What's your e-mail address? Do you have one @ dan-ball.com or anything?
Also, something that might help, explain how you were approached by dan-ball to start making games? And how many people are currently working on Earth Editor? What was YOUR role in it? Who heads it up? etc.

Elements:lightning or spline(Yes I love the spline why do you ask?) Features:maybe a "ring" like feature that can create rings of elements around the planet.

is it possible to make a dot go on a set trajectory, like in the planet simulation game, so you can have a meteor orbiting the planet without hoaving to nuke the entire thing first?

Lol, that bubble one made me laugh.
Don't worry an update is coming soon, we've been working on it.
