The "sample from the request board" is: Go into the GA request board, and look at one of the rquest there, and see if you can make it.
I also heard DarkRaine was interested in becoming a GA assistant, we could contact him.

How active is DarkRaine? You are pretty active and you proved capable of fulfilling the GA's duties, so you got the promotion. I haven't seen DarkRaine for a while, however...
If he's on for more than half of the week (i.e. four days a week or more), then go ahead and ask if he wants the job and then test him.

Well, most of the time I've seen him on 'Active users in the past 12 hours', but not posting much. Shall I PM him anyway? If he becomes an assistant, he would try to be more active.

DarkRaine didn't want to because he said there was a reason for only wanting to be a tempory GA,he doesn't have the time. So Tristan is the only candidate for the assistant.

Yes but the current program iam working with has a little add bar at the top which blocks the a bit of the animation I.e:  Programs: Ms Paint, Paint.net, GIMP, Photobucket, Pivot and Advanced GIF Animator.
