I have removed the advertisements. You are not able to SELL advertising on a website that isn't YOURS.  He isn't actually gaining any true currency from his services, and his services advertise parts of this website itself, which IS permitted. Advertisements of shops within danballforums.proboards.com is permissable. If sponsorship of a "foreign" (i.e. not Dan-Ball) site is the problem, then I wouldn't worry if that site sponsors this site directly and officially. Concerning Dan-Ball to Nonja-buck transactions, I do not know what to say to that... Unfortunately, as I do not know what the ads or websites were, I am unable to restore anything. Just know that, given the above limitations and those in the revised rules, you have permission to continue advertising. If TheListo says this must go, however, then this must go. To the extent of my knowledge, this hasn't happened yet. |

I've seen a lot of other shops use advertising space, and it is perfectly fine.
As for the DBs to Nonjabucks exchange, we ARE actually selling something, as in any other shop. It's just that that something is not an image, nor is it on this forum.
