Reiterating what secret said, put most anything on it and it grows. Also, unlike tree, it is not affected by explosions.
So, anyone else think this would be a good fuse for cannons and stuff? I know we already have liquid fuses and c-4 fuses, but this is the first solid fuse that actually has a good time to it (burns as fast as c-4) and it uses fire as well while its burning! (like wood).
Also, is anyone else finding that if there's a lot of not-hot-related matter in the area, IE:water, and some scattered pieces of vine, that it's REALLY hard to get rid of all the vine on the screen in a reasonable amount of time?
Also2, whats with the drip-down effect?

If I'm not mistaken they changed how the clone work... You can put any element (non drag able) 2 dots higher (1 dot space) then clone and it will not clone that element (that is good i think) but it still clone in bigger range from down and both sides...

its because of vines odd dripping behavior.

Laser was better, and thunder sucked until metal.
Vine is still pure rad.

That may be the most appropriate word for the integration of VINE: radical.
The idea was radical, revolutionary. It revolts against standard physics by clinging onto anything it possibly can, including fire.
Not many of us would have guessed that vine would have been the next update. It was entirely unexpected and I think original.

No, this has always been the (buggy) behaviour of clone. Clone picks a random element within a 5x5 region around the clone. But this 5x5 is not centered around the clone. In fact is ranges 1 pixel to the top and to the left from the clone dot and 3 pixel to the right and bottom. This is also the reason why at a horizontal line of clone stuff gets cloned so fast from right to left, and only slow from left to right. /me

In my opinion its the best update in a loooong time. Yeah.. the other ones was so bad that this looks great! (looks at street on a rock - nothing special, compeers rock to crap - rock is great! you can kick/step on it and you don't stink xD)OK it's maybe to harsh... but if listo would give together more then 1 "not so special" upgrades like vine+line then it would be considered as a great upgrade - new element and help with drawing. My point is that if PG is updated only 1 in 4 weeks so it should be a little bigger update...

Try dragging vine around in circles, you'll understand the awesomeness when you try it . . .

This is a fine update for once a month. Acid and p2 should have been put together though.

if you value your integrity, DO NOT drag vine, as you will run out of dots pretty fast. Also, it can burn forever if you have enough of it, as it clones itself around the fire, then gets burned, then clones itself. You can stop this by putting Pen-S 9 fire around the vine, but otherwise it can loop.

Or pen-9 magma works for me. Good update, Kinda glitchy around fire.
Metaphorically:
When vine is attatched to something it forms an invisible layer of clone on the attatched element and attatches itself to the clone.

Don't think so, example: 0030000000100*02102*01*03*06*05*01w00q00004000v00u01u0B*0200Du0F00Cv0E10E00Ku0J*0Hv0Lu0G*0Bv0Q00N10M*0Pu0O*0Su0X00I10V*0Y10b00au0R00e00Uu0fv0T*0W10dv0j*0cu0iu0Zv0m00g*0ku0o10lu0pu0v10u10xu0tu0z00h00**0s010*0n01200r*13*11*17*16*1901501Bv0qv1Du0wu0.*1801Cu1F014v1E10y01Ku1J*1Hv1Lu1G*1Av1Q01N11M*1Pu1O*1Su1X01I11V*1Y11b01au1R01e01Uu1fv1T*1W11dv1j*1cu1iu1Zv1m01g*1ku1o11lu1pu1v11u11xu1tu1z01h01**1s020*1n02201r*23*21*27*26*2902502Bv1qv2Du1Jv00z00E0B.00w0Jv2GE2Iw0Jn2JT0Bt00p2H000.2J10Mn2O000t2QE2M12Uw00T2Pp2R.2Tu0Bn2Vt2X02Sw2Nw2a02Wp2cw2iT2bE2Yu2ew2jt2g.2d000n2fp2l12ZT2n02h12w02kE2o02tw2qp2vu2pT2x.2sn2uE2*n3602yu3302.039030T34w2m03B.35w31E37w3I03Cn38.3HT3E12zt2rw3Ft3Q13Pp3203D03Gw3Rp3Un3Mw3XE3JT3Ou3At3Su3dp3Yw3K.3N03W13TE3b03ju3fE3lt3e03Vt3pn3Z13k03Lw3hw3a03uT3c03qp3gT3yn3su3n03x03m03zE3op3.043n40044042t3rw3v13t.3it4BT3*w4Cu41.4Ep46t4F047w4H049.4JE45E4Q04Ap4Kp4TE4R.4P04SE4Vw3w.4W.4aw4Zw4c14Dw4du4Iw4f04Ow4hn48n4kw4Nn4lT4GT4o04MT4pt4Lt4sp4U04X04v.4b14e14yu4g14z04i14*n4n04q053t4tE4Y151w4mw58T4rp4u.4xu4.u5D050u5En52t5504ww4jw59043m2JZ2js2QT2v*0710415S*5Rw0A0aF0

I've noticed that there is 2 types of vine, the main one that grows around things, and a useless vine that it produces.
