Oh man, GO SEE IT RIGHT THIS DAMN INSTANT. It's possibly the greatest movie adaption/continuation of a comic I've ever seen.
Let's hope Live Action Dragon Ball Z sucks as bad as it looks so far so that I can compare the two.

Not really, tdm. That's the plot for practically all RPGs in existence. Final Fantasy, Breath of Fire, Dragon Quest, even the Mother series, which is a lot more down-to-earth than typical RPGs, has you fighting monsters of some sort.

What? Well, there's Earthbound, Final Fantasy V, Mario & Luigi: Partners in Time, the first 3 Final Fantasies, Final Fantasy Legends. There's probably more, but I'm not gonna go hunting to please you. You look for them yourself.
