Hitler, Satan, and Jack the Ripper never joined the Official Dan-Ball Forums. Do you want to be like them?

Good. Um...where are you going to put this ad? Dan-Ball Comment Boards. Hitler, Satan, and Jack the Ripper never joined the Official Dan-Ball Forums. Do you want to be like them? I don't know. I saw a negative reaction last time someone tried to advertise that way.

I would contribute to that negative reaction, since it would seem easier not to join. I read Mein Kampf, so I know some bits of propaganda. 1.) Never change the central message across your varied propaganda 2.) Keep it simple, since the common man has common knowledge (although we want people with uncommon knowledge, don't we?) 3.) Advertise the product/idea, don't replace it with the propaganda Obviously, you will need a hyperlink to the forums. Since "Community images" in hyperlinks are rampant, you may need to make the hyperlink separate from the advertisement and display the URL in its raw form (i.e. don't do something along the lines of this, do something like this: www.wwwdotcom.com)

How about a powder game animation!

Post by Qwerty on May 13, 2009 19:05:25 GMT -5
Well, could we even post that in the comments?

Post by -M4- on May 18, 2009 21:32:52 GMT -5
It would be a hotlink to the animation.

Say "Click here for an upload spot:" and then the link to the register page.
Or "Click here for info on the next update:"

lol Help me try to make this shorter, without taking out the main points. Join the Official Dan-Ball Forums!(made Official by ha55ii himself) WHY? I'll tell you why: 1) Great members willing to help. 2) Organized system of boards to post in. 3) Moderators delete spam, insults, etc. 4) It has an Arcade! 5) Live Chat! (Moderated) 6) Forum Currency (You get some every time you post, and with them you can buy cool items from the dan-ball shop) 7) Over 2000 topics, Nearly 70,000 posts, and nearly 900 members! Trust me, if you're looking for a place that isn't plagued with people asking you to vote for their uploads, requesting things like cars, and spamming then the Official Dan-Ball Forums is probably the place for you! What's more?: 1) Registration is free, and there is nowhere where we ask you for your money 2) We wont spam your email with things like newsletters 3) We will not ask you to reveal any personal information So what are you waiting for? There's nothing to lose! Join today! And don't forget to read the rules located at: tinyurl.com/ODBF-RulesAlso, registration is here(it's free): tinyurl.com/ODBF-RegistrationThe main mage is here: danballforums.proboards.com/index.cgi

Problem: tinyurl.com/ODBF-RulesThis url takes you to a post that's been deleted so it just says the post doesn't exist

Post by Qwerty on May 30, 2009 13:52:54 GMT -5
Why bother shortening it? It's good as-is.

Because not even I can read the whole thing without turning my attention to something else.
