It is better if everyone makes his/her own respect requests, so that threads don't become confusing with all the topic hijacks and what not.

For instance, he called me a 'DUMBASS' for me not knowing the capital of Florida, I'm not american, how the hell was I supposed to know that? Wait, what the hell? You never even asked what the capital of Florida was. (Not that I know of anyway... Either way, I didn't call you a dumbass) EDIT : Ironically, people have said yes, but everyone's voted no so far.... lol, I was more respected than half the people on the forums last year.....

The naysayers primarily use IE or Chrome while the yaysayers use Firefox and ergo can't vote "yes." I wonder if there is a correlation between browser use and respect... Anyhow, you are respected for your individuality, although you should sometimes be careful...

Okay, 7 say yes, and I think 5 or 6 say no.
This is out of anyone who said yes at all.

I change my vote to a no. Sorry, but you are far too much of a jerk on chat. You even say so.
That means more people don't than do now...
6 say yes, and 7 say no.

You can't change your vote. >:[
Anyway, stop bringing chat into the equation. If I was asking if I was respected on chat, I would, but I'm asking about the forums.
And before anyone starts about "You didn't tell us that," Let me say I assumed you were smart enough to know that.

You still have a tendancy to insult people on forums and I'm the one who's meant to have comically low karma.

Well, about changing votes...
Even if one were to prohibit the change of votes, the voter would still experience a true change in respect toward the object of the respect (i.e. you), and that true feeling would determine whether or not someone deserves the Respect Badge.
Concerning the chat, I would imagine that the Respect Badge would be applicable for both the forum boards and the fourm chat, in which case a paucity of respect in one would prevent reception of the Respect Badge at all. Of course, the list of badges doesn't say that, but it implies that the person is respected overall...

it's overall respect for the user, and that includes the "fourm chat" (oh wow, Veers made a typo...).
You getting better... I change my vote to a neutral. You are now evenly respected and disrespected.

[offtopic]You all DO know that I have made several other typos, some of them apparently unknown to you, do you not? Ironically, I was using FF3 for my browser and had spell check enabled...[/offtopic]
Well, you already know my vote...
...and I have a question. In asking for the Respect Badge, how do votes work? Are ten affirmatives necessary to gain the badge, or does there have to be a majority in the affirmative after ten votes are cast - I don't know?
