What makes someone officially American is if either parent is a US citizen at the time of your birth, so I am American.

Yes, but we are talking about heritage, which is what genetically nationality you are, not officially.
Read the other posts, say what origins your family have with the rest of the world and where they are from, i.e I'm half-irish because my grandparents were born and bred there, so my father is fully irish.

Yeah, and me. My dad's side is almost fully German, with some Frenc and Spanish, and my mom's side has German, Scottish, Irish, and everything else I mentioned.

One Quarter English.
One Quarter Scottish.
One Half Irish.
I'm pretty sure, but i get my Irish and Scottish mixed up.

Half Iranian - Dad
Half English - Mum
I wouldn't really class it as part of my nationality but my great grandparents ( Still alive ) Are Irish and Scotish. Also I'm not fully Iranian, I'm actually British! ( I know it's even worse... )

I infact is my dad is form india and my nan is for irland my mum is from england but... I don't know were my dads indian family gos from there. I mean my cozens. so am abit whiteybrowny black hair.
