He used to be a really great staff member, and would probably be an administrator by now if he hadn't left... Still, I think we should probably wait a little before letting him back onto staff, if any positions are even open.

Yup... I'm sure there is at least one board without a mod, but either way, he has to be back for awhile before we can make him staff again, am I right?

I wouldn't know how great he was, (But i heard he was great) but I think that i f he used to be staff, that even though we probably shouldn't make him staff yet, that he should be on the top of the list of future staff for when there is an opening.

Well, some are lacking, like aesthetics designer. I'm the only one. All staff ranks should have at least two or three members. We can start him off small maybe being as he is a great senior member....

Well, if he demonstrates sufficient activity like you suggested, then I (or whoever) can promote him to Category Moderator. From there he can work his way up again...

If there are any low places open, and he proves he is active again, we can hire him as a category mod. Please keep in mind that I last saw him as a Global Moderator...
Should we PM him, let him know? I have the feeling he may leave if he thinks we are ignoring him.

Good idea, let's PM him. Let him know that if he demonstrates good activity (approximately a week, not an exact figure), then he can become a category moderator. Like I said before, he can work his way up the ladder from there, similar to what we did...

He PM'd me a request for staff after having been on for about a week, and I told him that there were several category moderating positions open. In response, Shining Silver sent the following at approximately 3:00 GMT. Has he actually been so high as to get H/F modification duties? If so, this is a predicament. If not, then he needs to be told how exactly the new hierarchy works now. |

I'm not sure... I think he got up to global mod, so no H/F duties. I guess he would have to become, say, the lowest global rank, the rank about cat. mod. Would that be Administrator, since we don't seem to have a global mod?
