ver5.3 is out.
The stage "Mist Grove 1" (like the Forest environment) with:
White Roundhead Mushroom White Roundhead Tree Green Cap Bat White Boss Roundhead Mushroom
The Mushrooms fire a a half circle of pellets into the air, which drop down to the ground. They are immune to poison. The Green Cap Bat shoots Poison clouds. The Trees shoot arrows like a bow.
The other new thing is in the Book. There are now two lines for "strong" and "weak" for each enemy. Those lines may contain the abbreviations: Ph - Physical Fi - Fire Ic - Ice Th - Thunder Po - Poison Fr - Freeze
Best example is the new boss, which is strong against everything, except his weakness against Fire. All Bosses are strong against Freeze. Other examples: The Mushrooms in the Forest are of course strong against Poison. The Yellow Fishes in the Cavern also have the Ph,Po,Fr marks at "strong". I think the Mist Grove 1 enemies are the first enemies with a weakness.

Why didn't they release the shrine?
Interesting. Why are all forest bosses mushrooms?

Interesting update. The strong/weaknesses are not just binary informations, like the books will make you think. For instance the new Boss gets 30 points less damage from physical attacks, while the White Roundhead Mushroom only gets 10 points reduced damage. They both get double damage from fire - nice. On the first run I thought the new boss is quite hard, as he covers about the whole screen with his projectiles, but they always come down on the same spot, so you can park your ranged rangers between and kill him without worrying...
*edit* I initially thought, physical strength are percent based, they work like the defense on your rangers. The other stats are probably still percentage based.

On the first run I thought the new boss is quite hard, as he covers about the whole screen with his projectiles, [...] I realized this too. But my solution was different: I've quit to the world map and did the stage again. This time the boss wasn't perfectly in the middle so I had a completely safe spot for my other rangers outside of his attack range. Only my fire sniper was placed between his dots. /me

Yeah, my Quad Fire Sniper is the ONLY one that gets hit.

This was a very easy level, mainly beacuse only one monster could move and only the boss had a moderate range. The boss was the easiest boss ever.

I concur. This was a rather simple level to complete.

Hint to boss:
The bosses shot always fall in the same spot. you cant hide a stick man in-between the shots.
