Well, let's put it this way. There's a pack of censor codes that are used to produce greek letters, for people that do not know the alt codes and do not want to copy and paste them.
The way to do it, is to put the name of the letter in brackets. For instance:
λ
In practice, this is: λ
It's got everything from α to ω, and everything in between!
Only the lowercase letters are supported right now, but the uppercase letters may be added eventually.

If I'm correct, many of us should have the font "Symbol" available on our systems. In that case, we can just use a different font, although there would be several cases where slight modifications in spelling would be necessary, e.g. "q" for theta instead of "th."Never mind, it turns out that my computer will gladly use a Star Wars font and refuse a "Greek" font...

Plus, not all of us have that, and many of us are far too lazy to open a document, change fonts, type a letter that has been memorized, change fonts again, copy, close document, and paste just to get π.

Ganon, just because you can speak some oriental language, doesn't mean you have to use it randomly. None of us understood that message, and we don't intend to bother translating it. I don't, anyway.
Plus, Proboards only allows English forums.

You have to put spaces on each side.
ο micr ο n are n ο w ο rk.
Then you can edit and remove spaces.
οmicrοn are nο wοrk.
EDIT (again): Gah, I made a typo in the censor code. Should be fixed.

EDIT: that is suppose to be omega but it isn't, what's up with that? (no offence)

Actually, that is omega...lowercase omega. You are probably thinking of uppercase Omega, which is used as the symbol for the unit of electrical resistance (the Ohm).
Lowercase omega is also used in physics as a variable representing the angular speed of an entity in non-uniform circular motion.

It also looks like something that cannot and will not be discussed on the forums. Two things, actually.
I'll probably add the upper-case ones later, as it's more popular on some letters.

Yay!!
Also, uppercase Lambda is an A with no line in between the acute angle.
