WRONG, most of their members make a couple posts, showing that they were thinking of staying, but didn't

WRONG. Their members making a couple of posts doesn't have to mean that they thought of staying, they could have intentionally joined just to make a couple of posts.

According to your posts, everyone is wrong, therefore everyone is right, and I am wrong. And if everyone is wrong but right, I am right. And since I did not say anything, I am automatically right. So everyone but me is wrong, and I am right. But now I will something, risking my privilege of being right: The forums are active (especially in the chat room), but we do not have many active members.

I would also like to question why 73 members online at one time caused you to think this forum has gone inactive. Its not like its ever been higher. The info doesn't get changed ever unless there are even more, so that is the highest ever, even higher then whenever you think the forum was more active.

Point being the registered members of Slightly Insane need not only to register, but POST a specific amount of posts in order to gain access to said member boards. Therefore, a large majority of the Slightly Insane community has an actual 'bribe' for joining their forums.[/discussion]
Furthermore, there are numerous topics about the activity of this forum, Elton. Activity has already been discussed and decided upon, no need to further talk about it. What we need to start discussing is about having one of these said 'bribes' ourselves. Of course we have badges and whatnot, but those cannot really be taken for personal purposes, unlike coding for website development. Sure, we could have our own member board in which users must join and post to access it, but we should consider originality. Something that is both useful, yet also able to be used for someone's own personal demands...

This is a danball website and we need more posts in the games section so why not make it a privilege to be in the general section? Like 300 posts give you access and stuff. btw if you guys are replying to a single post then quote it then reply because it gets rly confusing (like the language I speak in says ggoodie what blasphemy)

If we take away the general board to guests and new members, who would bother joining? Again, I probably wouldn't have. Especially not 300.

It's a Dan-Ball website and general boards aren't the main boards at all. I don't even see why they're above the game boards, it might even confuse some people.. Anyways everyone here found the forum through PG, and it's becoming more of an online hangout place then a forum for games. So if we "bribe" them with access to the general boards, we'll get more posts in the games section and will hopefully make it more popular. Also it should be put above the general boards, because it makes no sense if it's first.
