Yes. Acid. Now everyone can stop complaining.
It appears to be the most powerful element in the game because it destroys all elements including magma.
Discuss new update here.

Reactions found:
1. (Universal) Acid melts every element (Include Snow, Wood and Steam/suds) except Fan, Clone on contact / with an effective radius of 1 pixel. There is a chance per frame that the reactants will survive in the Acid. (It'll still be melted eventually)
2. (Universal) Acid kills Player and Fighters. It melts Box into pieces
3. Bubble, Clone, Fan, Wheel, bomb and Thunder function as usual
4. Virus can acquire Acid charge, but cannot actually infect (Universal) Acid
5. Nitro destroys itself and (Universal) Acid in a 1:1 ratio (NOT Soapy, which is supposed to do so according to chemistry)
6. Laser travels in Acid as in other liquids while at the same time eating aways some Acid. There is a chance that the Laser beam will be cancelled while travelling in Acid.
7. Each (Universal) acid pixel can melt exactly 5 pixels of elements (reactants) before it is cancelled along with the 5th reactant. (With the exception of Nitro, see 5.)

I personall am VERY dissapointed. There is absolutely no way to control it to the nearest pixel.

Well, at least the "Vote for Acid" uploads'll die out. I'll check it out later when I'm on the PC. A positive is that we have a new pixel art colour.

Yep, that is the one good thing. And it is a pretty cool color.

I've invented a portable acid container
But I'm trying to put it into uses
any suggestions?

we need to contain acid:
clone with metalwillallow some trickle-down containment. will leak if required later

secret, what exactly do you mean by a portable acid container?
And acid destroys thunder without being destroyed itself.

Actually, thunder's destroyed when it hits most elements, so thunder's reaction with acid's the same as a few others.
An interesting thing to do is this: Pool of acid, have a Superball-player above it on block, and hold Down so the Superballs hit the acid. Superball hitting acid at high speed will create a splash effect. It won't bounce off though. Also, Stone landing in Acid will cause a smaller splash effect.

Yea, and I like how when a box/player/fighter is dropped in a pool of acid, it dies, but continues falling at almost the same speed.

I'm surprised that ACID doesn't set off NITRO, one of my favorite elements.
Apparently, ACID will not set off FIREWORKS, but FIREWORKS can become what I like to call ACIDWORKS (Fireworks that release Acid upon explosion) when set off appropriately.
Does ACID set anything off (e.g. make things ignite or explode or otherwise produce a reaction aside from melting)?
Is it possible to determine what kind of acid that theoretically is, (e.g. hycrochloric acid, HCl)?

The moment I saw the update conceptart I knew what this abomination was.
Liqid bomb without any special reaction. Powder has been delevered to the community on a silver platter. At least its not guns.
ONe thing to note is a belive wind affects acid more strongly that it ieffects other elements, as well as the fact that thunder also seems to have amplifed explosion efects.

acid is very odd
it's also like those baby birds that kill the other eggs so they get more food. When acid comes out of fireworks it falls and destroys it

Heres a neat design I made from acid and thunder. I might upload something out of it:

could somebody do some research about the falling pattern? I find that falling acid looks kind of strange . . . the pixels look too thick for some reason . . . maybe its just the bright color though . . .
