A contest which utilizes the newest update in an amazing way. For this one, it would be BG - Track since it is the newest update (on the writing of this message).
The entries could be anything from pixel-art to chain reactions to player courses or anything!
To prevent stealing of ideas, the entries would need to be PMed to a chosen Judge, once the contest will not accept anymore entries (does not necessarily mean finished judging) the entries will be shown to the public.
The entry would be judged on:
Utilizes the update in a new way - 40%
Cleanliness - 15%
Complexity - 15%
Shows the potential of the update - 30%
If you have any questions feel free to ask.

How come right when im no longer judge people start having good ideas? There haven't been any ideas in weeks.

Ok, but please define the difference between "Utilizes the update in a new way - 40%" and "Shows the potential of the update - 30%"
-im a little confused...

Oh, Okay, Hmm..
Utilizes the update in a new way - 40% Shows a new way to use the the update, for example using BG - Track for making long lasers, is NOT a new way to use it.
Shows the potential of the update - 30% How it could be used, ranging from inventions, to simple machines, etc. How it works with other elements, etc.
So I'm not sure if they're the same... If they are, then we might just fuse both of them together? Or Anyone else have another idea for a thing to be judged upon?

I think someone suggested something like this a while ago.
Nevertheless I like the idea. I personally might not enter this time since I can't find much uses for this update but I'll likely(and that's one big likely) enter one of the next contests if the next updates please me.(Only if this turns out being an "every update contest")

I actually would rather have it be an Every Update contest. Then, even when you think the update isn't very good, someone might find a really cool way to use it.

Indeed.
We all seem to be in agreement that this should be a contest.
By the powers vested in me, I hereby proclaim this contest [img src="http://i42.[tinypic].com/28qrtk1.png"]!

Rights purchased. I have a feeling I'll be spending a lot of time on this board, I may need it.
Did I make the contest thread okay?

Fine, just one thing. Sticky contests that are currently open. De-sticky closed ones.

Nice idea! Even better since it's about BG Track, for some reason not so many people are crazy about the BG. Oh well this contest will give them something to think about!
