I am hereby joining the game. I hope i am not too late.
I read the first post, and Maxmillian being greeted at the island of Clockwork.
It needs to be aproved, but if it is, i will actually be making my own island. Just read.
Name- Foxtrot-Delta-Zero-Zero formally. Can Also be addressed by Foxtrot or Tyler, if one prefers.
Race-Human
Race 2- SPARTAN (Biochemically altered and agumented soldiers of the SPARTAN-II project, abducted by the UNSC within childhood and trained their whole life by the military. Soldiers with an unbeatable talent for war. The UNSC will, however, not be involved despite this. "Spartans Never Die"
Class- Soldier (essentially warrior, just more accustomed to my style)
Sub-Class- Warlord (essentially, as a commander of military forces, its demanded of me)
Island Owned- Militrius. While this is the official name of the island, The government is the Phoenix Republic, and so the government is usually referred to as "The Phoeinx" and the island is commonly known as "Phoenix Island".
An artificial construct of steel and machinery, it is actually suspended by its own systems, but is locked into orbit with the mainland allowing the marble bridge to stay intact. halfway along the bridge, the marble fuses into some strange material and the nearer you become to the island the more polycrete and the less marble it becomes. The islands heart is a labyrinth of military structures, from barracks to vehicle bays, to production lines to armorys. Its exterior is primarily gray concreted colors, with shining blue panes of glass and glimmering steel standing prominent.
I was about to go on, but this is enough for now. The island of Militrus has essentially the largest military there is, but that doesn't mean they are ruthless. Its true might takes time to amount. There are actually long range airforces and large military airships at its disposal, but these mostly stay docked or patrol the island's airspace - the only craft to leave this area are usually commercial or civilian.
I could go on and on. I wont overmodernize the game - if you don't like how i interact with the game i can change my methods. But if you accept my entry, it would add in a interesting twist.
I wanted clockwork, but veers got it, so i can express myself better this way. I think him and i will get along well : D
Sorry for taking so long : P
EDIT:
In the event i am aprooved, please take no note of me. If i am approved, you should notice a new bridge of the solid marble outjutting from the main island but leading to nothing. Upon it stand a large group of people. They look humanoid, but they have a metallic look. Things are unclear from a distance. Some strange machines are with them. There are several structures unmistakibly made of metal, but from a distance the contraptions that are with them, and are most certinally moving around, are unidentifyable.
Remember. If i should be accepted.
Man, i swear, i am like, TREMBLING at my desk. No kidding.

Welcome to the game, FoxtrotZero. Quite a bit happended up until you joined. First, I got Clockwork, then Sylux got Ballistica and transformed it into Clockwork II, then some random person joined and left, then Grandender took Apocraphya, then Absolix took Deadlands, then I negotiated an alliance with Moonshadow, then Absolix's demons blew up a sacred forest in Moonshadow, then Moonshadow gave me its gem and became isolated, then various other conquests took place, then Absolix and Genesis began fighting each other, then Genesis was repelled at the Battle of Arcana, then Absolix jumped off the edge of Arcana to retrieve its gem (only to end up in some extradimensional prison), and now I'm fighting Genesis outside of Fantasia. Lordara and Fantasia are independent, and I don't know what happened to Absolix's territories.

Wow. Thats odd. Don't involve me until i am approved. If i am, you will be hearing from me quite soon.
We share much alike, Maxmillian, though i rely less on droids (of which i have relatively few) and more on my other technology.
Well, all in good time, mate. And like i Said. Its Foxtrot-Delta-Zero-Zero formally. Because that is so long, I will be addressed more commonly (in a formal matter) as FoxtrotZero. For some of the people i am more at ease with, its Foxtrot, should they prefer, and for my alliances, Fox is acceptable. Thats a name though, and like I, my characters REAL name is Tyler, for which few if any people will call me this.

and by the way, i have read the whole first page.
For some temporary humor (i won't be doing this again):
I once shot an Elephant in my Pajamas...
What he was doing in my Pajamas, i'll never know.

With battleshouts and screams, the mutants and beasts engaged the creatures of Fantasia. Using a mix of crude weaponry and tooth and claw they fought with unchained ferocity, though realtively formless.
Genisis walked over its lines, the newly refined stone carapace absorbing the ballistics that landed ontop of it.

Meh. Welcome, FoxtrotZero! just to let you know, I've got ALMOST every single USNC vehicle, including Elephants, Cobras, Scorpions, Warthogs, Mongooses, Vampires, and thats about it.
"Fire the MAC cannons!" *The droids in the main MAC tower activate the sequence. They gave a countdown, and the huge mass chunk flies out, targeted at Genisis. In theory, it SHOULD nearly kill him.*
-FoxtrotZero. Welcome to Tephanis' realm... We've been trapped here for several months. Letting you know, I'm one of the realm's superpowers. Take a look at my arsenal, forces, and frigates. I shall have you obtain 1,000,000 soldiers, spartans, and other classes, 5,000 Scorpions, 1000 Elephants, and an additonal 100,000 ODST units, nicknamed 'Helljumpers'.-
Also, the - marks indicate a radio transmission.
And, oh yes, I almost forgot: Veers, a sample antidarkmatter and some darkmatter are on the way to ClockWork.

nonono. please take that back.
I have a planned begenning. I want to begin "unaware" of what is going on around me.
And while alot of my stuff is based of the UNSC< it isn't the UNSC itselves.
And veers, i think i will e looking to your aid quite soon...
The uses of "He" mean me, in the narration, unless otherwise specified
Here i go:
He sat up. Puzzled. He thought for a moment. He was in the courtyard, and he blacked out. Or thats what he thought. What he knew. At this point he had a bit of a grasp. He looked around. The sky was a fiery orange expanse. He looked down, and was sitting on what he could only identify as... Marble. A large expanse of marble outjutting from a central island, type, thing. It was floating. Never before had he seen anything like this. Other of these marble bridges seemed to be outjutting, leading to smaller floating islands. But at the end of the one he sat on...
was nothing....
He looked at the pad on the arm of his armor, and touched "Records". He rewinded the digital video a way, and then touched play. The video of everything his helmet had seen began. He saw the courtyard of Durandal Base Sector 5. Then suddenly the feed went black. A few seconds later, it flashed white. The camera had adjusted, and then focused onto the fiery sky that was above him.
That was no help. He looked back at the microcomputer screen on the basic enviroment suit he was wearing. He touched "atmosphere" and 20 seconds later the pad chirped. The air was safe. He took his helmet off, which was becoming somewhat stuffy.
"Now What?"
He unlatched the survival equipment pack from his back, and opened up the ration compartment. He pulled out one of the metal boxes, and opened it. There sat a fresh "meal". 2 slices of bread, some ham, a compartment of mashed potatoes, a concoction of cinnamon and apples, and a pint of nutrient-enriched purified water.
Several minutes later, as he found he was hungry, he had eaten the food. He set down the metallic tray and then pulled out the viewfinder from his side. He stood up. He looked around, and the nearest neighboring island was one covered in structures. Rather technological looking. So he looked through the viewfinder at it. The lens adjusted and it got a bearing. 500 miles. The place was pretty far away, but it looked massive. So it must have been.
He figured he was here for a reason. And if that was so, someone ought to be here soon. Besides, the nearest sign of... anything was at least 500 miles away and he had no mode of transportation. He was probobly better off staying where he was. He put his helmet back on, propped himself up, leaned back, and closed his eyes. He was asleep within 10 minutes. Everything would unfold soon.
Wow. What a saga... I won't really be typing like this again. I currently don't have a project. So in a room full of computers, i decided to swing by (because this has been in my head since last night).
Really, i'm still confused and waiting there. Essentially for Tephanis to come by (which i expect in about 20 minutes, as i nap).
I'll be back. I thought today was a minimum day at school, but its next week : ( So now i don't have a lunch. I should be on, no earlier than 3 or 4. Though i doubt it.

Tephanis-
Tephanis leaves the cell he trapped Absolix in, saying "I'll be back momentarily, I must attend to a new contestant." *Tephanis vanishes into the shadows and reappears before Foxtrot*
"Hello Foxtrot-Delta-Zero-Zero. I suppose you were wondering why you are here? *Tephanis launches into the information found on the first page, and then some other things as well*
".... also, each island has a Gem. The person in control of the Gem, controls it's respective island as well. Losing every Gem you have will either have you expelled from the game, set aside as a spectator, or if someone else is kind enough they can lend you an extra Gem. Here is your Gem *Tephanis hands Foxtrot a slowly pulsing gem about the size of a human palm* Do you have anymore questions?"

"Let me out."
I suddenly went berserk, triggering the Oblivion inside of me. The base the chained me to the wall broke off, and I slammed repeatedly into the wall.
It was no use.
I then realized that the Arcana gem was lying on the floor. I grabbed it, then offered it for escape.

Arcana Gem-
Tephanis brought me to life, he will only bring death if I disobey him. For all of the Realm was created by Tephanis. I apologize, but I will not help you.
Tephanis-
Excuse me Foxtrot, but I have business to attend to. Here's a manual all about my realm, consult the index to learn about it. (Contact me in OOC)*Tephanis appears in front of Absolix*
"Well I'm back again old friend. Where were we? Oh yes, what would you give for your freedom? *Tephanis notices the Arcana Gem* Oh, I'll just take that. *The Arcana Gem appears within Tephanis' hand* Now about your freedom..."

"I will become the champion. I don't think you know me much. Hehehehehe......"
I began laughing eerily, then shadows covered the room.
"I am NightMare, if you've ever heard of him. I corrupt people, I control darkness. The deistic powers may be gone, but I still have my own. I create visions and torture people, but I won't harm you."
"Either way, I sense something is coming. I am sure you sense it too...... DarkSpace. Tabuu is there, too, and only I can defeat him."
I also offered to be his servant until I repay my debt. It was foolish, but it would be worth it.

Tephanis-
*Sigh* "Absolix do you really think that low of me? Why would I condemn you to servitude? On other planes of existence I am a servant, do you think I like it? Whether you believe me or not, I do have a tiny bit of compassion tucked away in my brain. I would never force you to serve me, unless you had attempted to kill me. *None of your powers work here, not Deistic or inherent ones. Also, a little humility never hurt anyone. Why must you evilly laugh and *Tephanis' voice becomes slightly indignant* cover my nice prison in shadows every time anyone suggests that you peacefully comply? *Tephanis waves his hand, wiping away the darkness* Is there anything else you would offer me? I need this for my research.

"There is one thing...."
I opened my hand, and a shining emerald gem appeared.
"This is the Gem of LightFall. Very valuable, very dangerous. It holds great powers of purity, but I am Darkness, it is no use to me. It is yours if I am let go."

Tephanis-
Now That, is something I would want! I will add it to my collection for study, you are free to go. *Absolix is transported to the middle of his main island, minus the Gem of LightFall* *Tephanis walks to his island, muttering spells over the Gem to ascertain it's powers*

*Veers's army continues wiping out Genesis's army and the HADs continue shooting away at Genesis's stony exoskeleton. Veers notices a new island off in the distance, nearby Clockwork. It was a shame that transportation was temporarily cut off here, with a battle raging on a bridge, else he would have gone over to find out about the newcomer.*
*The laptop made a peculiar, Vista-themed "You've Got Mail" sound. Veers quickly checked and noted that the standard droids at clockwork received some darkmatter and antidarkmatter.*
"Thank you, Freeman. My droids ought to be working on the antidarkmatter now..."

Glad to be back, I recruited my army and traveled to Fantasia. Noticing that Genesis was there, I charged at him, summoning my DarkSoul, and slashed through his rocky body. I turned, sat down, and waited.

"Ah, Absolix! I'm glad you're back! Genesis is one tenacious player..."
*Veers's army continues to cut down the rest of Genesis's army while the HADs continue to pierce its exoskeleton. With Absolix joining in, Genesis might come down much more quickly. It would be better if the Clockwork droids would hurry up with producing more antidarkmatter samples...*

"Indeed."
I stood up, and turned around.
"Cease fire!"
The droids stopped at once, waiting for my signal to attack once more. I turned around again, stabbed DarkSoul into the ground next to me, and sat down once again.
