((Deadlands gem))
Genisis halted, shards of rock flying off its back as the war vehicles opened fire. It sweeped the ground with its fist, knocking Aboslix to the side. It stomped forward, marching down into the deadlands.

Prince of Lordara-
The prince of Lordara was completely unfazed after the demon-thing threw his "father" of the bridge. He reall wasn't even his father, in Lordara the person who is announced the Sultan becomes the legal father of the current prince. He'd went through 8 already and waved off the visitors who came to see him during his "grieving". Instead of going to the funeral he instead opted to spend the night with Victoria from southern Lordara.
People of Moonshadow-
The people of Lordara buzzed about the city, all preparing for The Right of the Vallenwood. It was the ceremony in which the Vallenwood was planted above the body of the dead General/King to allow his spirit to enter it. Normally, the tree would grow 8 times as fast as a normal tree; but since the gem had been taken it would only grow about 4 times as fast. The people had their misgivings about entering the defiled Vallenwood "forest" (only 3 trees left now), as it was supposed to be sacred and meant only for the priests and Vallenwoods - however, in light of recent events, all natives were welcome in the grove.

((Edit, who owns the deadlands? And how do you capture a place?))

OOC: Absolix owns Deadlands. You capture an island by stealing it's gem and getting it to one of your islands.

The places that ARE owned are...
- Clockwork
- Moonshadow (protectorate underneath Clockwork)
- Ballistica
- Deadlands
- Ashpit (protectorate underneath Deadlands)
- Apocraphya
I also have the gem to Moonshadow, so technically that is also owned by me, but I am following a laissez-faire policy, permitting them salutary neglect. The other places are unowned.

Actually, Absolix has Ashpit and you technically own Moonshadow.

Genisis stomped forward, picking one of the mutated creatures from the lot of them. Genisis gradually dismembered it's limbs, and then followed such by crushing its skull and throwing the corpse aside. A grinding sound echoed back to the warlord, which, if translated would sound something like 'Hm?'

*Veers commands the army to cease fire, but sees that it already did so when Genesis went to Uungor. Veers was surprised that his droids were that intelligent. Well, now Veers needs to see whether or not the prince would be willing to give Veers a small command post within the palace. If not, then a few well-deployed HADs ought to do the job. It's a shame it was Muslims being considered and not Europeans: Muslims were more technologically advanced and capable, especially in the field of mathematics and medicine...*

Genisis bent down clenching its fist around hte warlord's armored chest. It raised its fist, threatening to smash the warlord.

*Veers has one of the droids with an audio-visual communicator go into the island of Lordara again in order to consult the prince, the lost sultan's proxy.*

Prince of Lordara-
"Hmmmm, what is it Charles? You interrupted me and Victoria, we were having such fun. *The girl called Victoria blushes violently and walks, scandalized, back into the bedroom*The servant called Charles says
"Ummm, yes of course your majesty. It's just that there is apparently a man called Maximilian from Clockwork that wants to talk to you."
"Hmmm, I suppose I should, shouldn't I? *The servant nods slightly* "Well, I guess I'll meet him in the audience hall, send him up!"
*The servant bustles out into the hallway*
Warlord of Uungor
"Ummm, you want pretty rock? I guess I give your rock. Me no want be hurt." *The mutated creature thrusts out a sickly green gem*

*The droid goes to the prince, and Veers speaks.*
"Your majesty, Prince of Lordara, I am Lord Maximilian Veers of Clockwork. I would like to request the setup of an embassy and a military base within your island so that I may better protect allies from ever-present threats. Would you please to be so gracious as to permit me these?"

Genisis picked the small rock from the warlords tiny hand. It raised an eyebrow... or something like stonebrow at the rock, unknowing of what it does. Genisis was seemingly absorbed by the rock. With a flicking motion of his other wrist, the warlord was sent flying across Uungor.
((Exactly what does the rock does?))

Gems serve as infinite power sources. They allow you to have deistic control over the island that the gem originated from, I do believe. Control all gems and you get to be Tephanis's champion.

Prince of Lordara-
Yes, of course, just let me return to my chambers. I do so hope they choose a new Sultan soon, I grow bored of all this diplomatic stuff... Just set up the embassy away from the palace, next to the bridge. I don't want the beauty of my palace blemished by a million droids waltzing around like they own the place. *The prince waves his hand in a dismissive manner*
OOC: Tephanis' champion gets a chunk of his power and a collection of magical artifacts to boot. They can be used in the next game in the series.
