Oh wait.
My memory is jagged.
It definitely was the Unofficial Dan-Ball Forums when I made it. So yeah, everything is someone else's fault. I didn't even really notice that when I came back. How embarrassing of me. I do have a very, very poor memory.

I can't find it...of course. It may have been deleted, in which case I can't trace a path through this madness...

Yeah, what Veers said. Anyway, a quote:
That sums it up. Neither side can really do anything until it goes through.

Well, it could have gone somewhere if I would have found the thread celebrating our new "official" status and if it contains what I hope it contains, although I admit the point is moot since I can't find the thread.
And so we wait for DB-Pal...

So, how about, instead of trying to find someone that speaks japanese we just find on online translator? hmmm? Actually get something done?

Online translators suck and we all know that. Vert and I have attempted to find a human translator that answers back, to no avail.

Online translators are better than nothing

We are attempting to contact Ha55ii. There is no way we can contact him with terribly translated broken Japanese. It's like writing a letter to a senator without any punctuation or capitalization.

For a weired reason Ha55ii has no problems writing to us via a translator. It would at least be worth a shot. BTW do you have his email address? Because I once searched for something similar (or a contact form) and didn't find any. But Listo should have it right? I still wonder how he contacts Ha55ii... but he doesn't seem interested in this discussion.

Are there not Japanese forums where you could find someone to translate a message? I think that we should try all of our options, to make sure that this project does not stagnate.
And another thing: Do we definitely have an active email address for Ha55ii? It would be ironic if we went to great lengths to translate a message and then couldn't send it to him.

As a last resort, there would always be his blog where you could post a comment on...

How is DB-PAL unrelated to the site being official? It's the hypothetical evidence.

This is about the site being Official not DB-Pal, stay on topic. We are as on topic as we can get. DB-Pal is tied so closely with being official it's not even funny. Translation problems for contacting Ha55ii and ensuring the correct email address are also on topic, I can assure you. We are still germane. Don't worry.

As a last resort, there would always be his blog where you could post a comment on... I do not know how much he replies to blog comments, I might take a look in a sec. Otherwise: Can anyone confirm/deny whether or not we have an active email for Ha55ii?

Obviously Ha55ii has his own translator or Listo wouldn't be able to talk to him. Why don't we just boycott the forum till Listo finds the need to just send the email.

I've already tried it. As of now, no response. Also, that translation site ran dry. I've sent messages to every Japanese translator. hassii.blog39.fc2.com/?adminThat link was a supposed way to get to Ha55ii, but I made an account for it, and it took me to the main FC2 page.

Hmm.
So, where now?
Ggoodie, no. Just no. Killing the forum for this will accomplish nothing.

This may sound like an unusual suggestion, but has anyone considered simply sending a message in English? Might be worth a try just to see what happens at his end.
Otherwise, is Google Translate really completely out of the question?
I've tried translating an English sentance in to Japanese, and back into English again, and whilst the grammar is bad, most of the sense still remains.
In the same way that the English powergame site is still understandable, despite the low quality grammar.

I've studied Japanese and I understand its sentence structure. If somebody gave me a message, I could translate it more effectively than an online translator. It would take me a bit because I'd have to look up words and double check meanings, but I could do it. It's drastically different than English, a literal translation will end very poorly.
