Probably a good idea, and we should include Listo's real name.

Great, just add Japanese respects and translate it, and we should be good!

IF we can find a "more effective method of contacting Ha55ii".

We have his blog. I'm sure there is an email somewhere on it.

Already tried the blog. There's a contact link, but it didn't do anything.

And the Page Admin link led to the Fc2 main page.

That's what I meant by the contact link.

Any news on this one? Frogmaster did you start translating, or are you waiting for a proper text? I just saw otascube answering to Qwertys Twitter message in english. Perhaps we should contact him!

That is what I was considering, yes. But, how would we go about doing that?
Certainly nice of him to reply in English.

Ask him if he speaks english and I'd ask for an interview with him, thats interesting on its own. And if he agrees, he will certainly agree to ping ha55ii for us. If not, we can ask him to do it anyways. An interview sounds interesting and might just get things going with him. Just write something like "Do you speak english and would you like to give an interview for the english community?"

I suppose we can arrange a form of short interview. But what of the cover story? Any way I can convey a polite, English and Japanese message stating that a small group of people would like a brief interview with THE Otascube, in a twitter message? Also, which questions? If he has any form of ego, he should be glad to be interviewed, but how do we arrange one?

Thats my point: He should be glad to be interviewed by international folks. So you would work out a way of communication, like Mail or chat or similar. Then we collect a few nice questions (I can think of >5 of the top of my head) plus a few regarding dan-ball, like "do you have any contact to international folks", "how many are working for dan-ball" and as a last question something like "would you be willing to translate a few questions for ha55ii himself". We should probably get a few Iphone owners to post some questions thogh, hes the mobile dev after all, but I got a few more too.

Yeah, we'll need some questions about his games, not just Dan-ball. Anyone with an iphone and/or ipod touch?

Those questions don't have to be too much about the games. But a few would be nice. And we should probably start a new thread for game-related questions. And you should first try to contact him and ask. No point in collecting ideas, when he doesn't react...

Already asked.
Response:
すいません。私は簡単な英語しかわからないのです。英語のコメント(Twitter、レビュー、Webサイト)は翻訳サイト等を使って読んでいます。
Sorry. I just do not know simple English. English Comments (Twitter, reviews, Web sites) are reading with other translation sites.
I told him a translation may be understandable.

Other languages like what? I don't think they will speak Spanish/French/German/whatever you have to offer. You can find the Blog from Ha55ii here, otascube Twitter page and theres also the web designer... *edit* here are some questions that interest me. If you want me to open another thread for that, just say the word.

He said he doesn't know English, so I said we can probably translate the answers. Those questions seem pretty good. We may want to replace the second with, "Do you work with someone known as Ha55ii on dan-ball?" Just in case they don't really work together, but there's some kind of deal going on. Number 1 seems to be explained partly by the profile:
So, yeah. His job seems pretty self-explanatory, although it may not be his full-time job, and asking his age is a bit odd. Then again, his blood type is there. Type O, quite a blood type.
Overall, a nice set of questions, although we should probably get some iphone users to propose a couple, since this is, after all, an interview with the mobile game-maker.

I have to contribute something to mention my random fact about his blood type, so I think I will mention that I am glad that this is actually moving forward. I thought the project would be given up on really quickly.
P.S I think it includes his blood type because Japan regards blood types the same way we regard astrological signs. Saying "What's your blood type?" their, is like saying "What's your sign?" here.

Well eh he probably knows who ha55ii is, because he is mentioned together with him in the credits and he codes for him remember? dan-ball is no website like armorgames, where random people can upload their games... We can ask if he knows Listo... but in the end it doesn't matter, as ha55ii is the one we'll ask that. And why is it odd to ask for the age? I just like to know whom I talking to. I would have also asked for his hobbies, but they are already listed. And if I'd have a live conversation with him I'd ask a few questions relative to his age like school/study/marriage. I'm just interested in persons...
