Here's my idea:
For all contests that start from now on, we could use a point scoring system. The entry with the most points wins. Here would be an example for the pivot contest:
Length: 10pts Originality: 5pts Smoothness: 10pts Special FX: 5pts
Total: 30pts
We would then give them a score in each category, the find the total. The scores would be decided on a curve.
What does anyone think? Good or Bad idea?

so we go by a points system, more than our opinion?

No, we use our opinion to give them the points. Like how well we think they did in such category. Kind of like grading an essay. It's just an idea i had, we don't have to use it.

I think we should use it!
We might announce the scoring system on the contest's post.

I was thinking, if we use this idea, when we open the drink machine contest, we should put 'Reusability' as maybe an "extra credit" opportunity. Saying that you wont be judged worse without it, but your score will be higher with it.
Since we both agree, I'll make an announcement in the contest board.

So each guideline has its own % of total score.
Some have 0%, but have bonus points. Like extra credit.
