While we are on a roll, the default avatars could use some updating.
None of them are dan-ball related, except the "No avatar" one.
I suggest we make new ones, with dan-ball related things, such as PG screenshots, SR screeshots, Dan-ball logos and mascot/s etc.
And the defaults are pretty cheap anyway...

Personally, I think we should get rid of the Default Avatars alltogether.
Either deal with the default, well made 'No Avatar' or suck it up and upload one.

That works, although we can make an avatar for each dan-ball game, plus the no-avatar one. I will remove the old ones right now.

Great. Who're we going to get to make the new avatars. GG hardly comes on anymore, do we have any OTHER graphics artists lying around?
I don't suppose they have to be of professional quality, and alot of us do have decent graphics experience, myself included.

We can get as many people to contribute as possible on this, but we can't have the styles varying wildly...

Right.
But who.
Is some one going to put up a request?
And while we're at it, i think we need to appoint a new resident graphic artist.

Let's post a thread about it, make it a free-for-all, give 250 dan-balls to each person that makes ones?
Oh, yeah, and we need a new GA.

Well, perhaps we should hold a GA contest?

Another one? What theme? Dan-ball?

I'd rather not, simply because thats difficult to do.
I think we should just give a few requirements (I.E., size) and perhaps a theme to be included.
IMPORTANT; lets NOT tell them its a GA contest. It'll just be a contest. Anyone who enters would likely be active and involved enough for the job, and we'll offer the job to the winner, runner up if they decline, and so on, so forth. If there is no work of high enough quality, noone has to know we were looking for GAs and we play it off.
That and, i feel as if telling them might cause complications. Don't ask how, its a gut feeling.

Good idea, but I don't like it because some people may join that didn't want to be a GA. What if they simply don't like the theme, and as such don't join? What if it's that image in particular? First, we should get a list of people willing to join.

Ok, done.
Also, while we're at it, shouldn't all staff have the ability to make announcements?

No. Same reasons as censor codes. Plus cat mods are SUPPOSED to be really minor hirees on a trial run, not full-blown staff members like you. As a matter of fact, we shouldn't even have any cat mods, currently.
