Fox, you signing up?
Also, this is cause Ggoodie resigned. Obviously. In fact, I'll go fix his account right now.

Alrighty then. Ggoodie is ineligible. Unless we absolutely get REEEEEALLY desperate, I guess.

That rule is crap and a half. The fact that members leave or resign doesn't mean they need to be kicked out permanently, particularly when sooner or later we need staff and haven't gotten enough new members.
You can't permanently exile them. You can't deny how crappy an idea that is. Try having a period of, say, three months? Before they can come back in.
Regardlessly. That is not the purpose of the topic, and is to be discussed elsewhere if anyone wishes to bring it up further.

We can bump them lower on the list of people-to-hire. I'm sure we can re-hire them if needed.
Anyway, a period does sound more tempting.

So, instead of resigning, staff members should ask for a "vacation" and ask to be substituted in their temporary absence?

Honestly I do not see the overall point of this rule. Sure, we could go along with this rule, but what if this situation were to occur:
We have two candidates for said staff position. Candidate A is experienced in the staff position, fairly well at doing said position, but has resigned numerous times for one reason or another.
Candidate B has a clean record of no resignation, yet lacks the experience and skill of Candidate A.
Who would you rather choose? If you would rather of chosen Candidate B, Listo, then I will accept your decision without question.

Well, it might be worth giving Candidate B a try. I mean, you gotta give people a chance.
Back to the topic with us. Anyone wanna be GA?

Eh, couldn't hurt me to sign up. If I somehow get this position, I'll be more mature and stuff, but I know from you're point of view Ggoodie has a better chance than me.

Actually, Ggoodie is disqualified unless we get really desperate.

Nah, we don't hate you that much. Anyway, you ARE pretty good with graphics.
How about this: Izac, Ozone, try making a small set of avatars and a banner. The banner would be a potential forum banner, and the avatars would be any of the three listed over on that thread. We may or may not use the images, but they will be testing to see which of you will be GA. We will probably make the other one assistant GA.

Err, would said banner need to fit the current theme?

no AGA's. See this proves staff learn nothing when you all decide to still appoint overspecialized positions like AGA

We are terminating the majority of our staff members, and we will need more than one GA due to the HUGE workload they will have as soon as we have them. We can remove the AGA afterward if needed. If not, we can just make them some other staff position.
Ozone, no, although it should relate to dan-ball.
