Ok, if anyone disagrees with going to the inn, look at me. Lev stood fully up, revealing the gaping cuts, huge bruises, and in doing so, clutched his torso, as he had a few broken ribs from the battle

Temporarily9 and the group returned to the inn.
Don't touch the drinks here. /1j8fip.png]Bad things can happen.

Yeah I'm underage anyway. Lev walked up and asked how much it would cost to get healed. The innkeeper asked him why he, so young, was a ranger. Lev asked how much it would cost. This degenerated into a loud argument.

Temporarily9 casually walked up to the situation. Less than a second later, a shuriken or two was at the throat of innkeeper.
I have a funny feeling we get a discount here.

Lev turned towards Temporarily9 and back to the innkeeper. Whoa. Two hours later, Lev was perfectly enthusiastic about going to grassland 1, but he made a mental note to be more careful.

Well, that went well. We are all better and we even got a discount.
A stammering innkeeper came down to tell us that our ride to Grassland 1 was ready. I casually thanked him and we departed for Grassland 1. He was still shuddering as we went off.
Ready to fight some snakes?

Totally! Paradox had been completely ecstatic about finally being able to use his Triple Shot. It looked extremely useful, too. You know, using force against the innkeeper was not exactly the best choice, in my opinion.

No? Well, I see our opinions differ. You must admit it was very useful. But wait, here's some snakes.
Temporarily9 flipped over between two snakes, taking them out with shurikens to each of their main parts, reacting quickly to each one. He ran, faster than most rangers would, to take down another snake. His teammates and him finished the first stage quickly.
Well, that was easy. But I think I see some more powerful snake-like creatures in the next level, and they seem to be stronger than these.

Lev sighed as he realized that, being the only fully melee member of the team, he was going to be the one to get mobbed. Crap. Welll, he'd fight anyway. He immediately was mobbed by about 5 green skull snakes, which he managed to take down through much arm flailing. He caught up with the other teammembers muttering about the Stupid mobbin snakes. Meh.

This is why I like being ranged. Pity walls stop these things, though.

And so it simply went on until level 6. I hate the red skull snakes. They-Lev got mobbed by the largest group of them in the game, 3. HEY! Lev beat them off, but was pretty beat up. If he was gonna face the boss, he needed to find an onigiri. Like i said, I HATE red skull snakes.

Egh, red skull snakes. Maybe we should go back to the inn, rest up some, then come back and skip all the levels to the boss.
In the meantime, this one had a bottle of poison for some reason. It's a rather deadly poison, if extended, but in these creatures they should fight it off after a couple seconds. Still, I can probably put it on some Shurikens to get Poison Shurikens.

Um... Heck, yeah! I wonder what the boss will be like and when i'll get my next weapon. (OOC: not too powerful though, it is the second level 1 weapon.)

(OOC: Yeah, it's just a second level 1 weapon. Like poison bow, sort of. I'm kinda basing the shruikens off a sword/bow hybrid type thing that can be concealed. Not the range of a bow, not the power of a sword, but in between.)
Indeed.
After a quick trip to the in and another 'discount', in which Temporarily9 actually received some gold, the team passed the shop.
Hang in there, I need to go do something.
He went into the shop. A few minutes later, he came back without an iron sword or staff and with a nice load of gold. A bit more than he would have gained through selling, actually.

You know, I may never get used to you. Lev walked to the door and promptly chucked in his old gloves. A small amount of gold came out later. He grabbed it.

Well, should I throw out this old Bow? I think I might need to keep it, though... (OOC: Do I just use the pre-made Sniper weapons? I think I should, but I think it'd be wise to make some Bows and Gloves for levels after the already made ones. Here's what I thought we could do after beating the in-game areas: Desert; Marshes; etc, etc.

(OOC: I have that figured out already. I've thought of a lot of this from the beginnign, i made the gloves. You are responsible for Bows.) Go ahead and toss it.. or... whatever... arghh... my head hurts....

Try a rest at the inn. We have some credit there.
When the rest of the group wasn't looking, Temporarily9 slipped away into a back-alley.

Lev turned back and saw that Temporarily9 was gone. Meh, he thought, he's probably out killing something.(OOC: Did one of you guys give me that karma? Or is it default? If the former, thank you. Also, what level of staff do you have to be to make a board? Like Qwerty's?)

Post by Qwerty on Mar 31, 2010 23:48:42 GMT -5
(OOC: Well, to make a board I think is Administrator technically, but if you want to actually make a personal board, then you buy it in the dan-ball shop. You can probably afford one if you win one of Listo's mega-contests. Otherwise you'll need 5000 posts and/or a bunch of normal contests, or a highly successful and expensive shop.)
Temporarily9 wandered down the alley, meeting a stickman-like figure there. There is a hurried discussion. The conversation seems to become heated rapidly, and involves something about "Grey Smiley Walker", "Reverse Vampire Card", and "Our Master". They continue to attempt to keep a low voice, however. Eventually, Temporarily9 hands the stickman a bag, and receives a bag in return, which he places in his inventory. He runs out of the alley, and his nonja speed quickly catches him back up with the group.
Hey, guys! Sorry about that, had to do what every ranger must do at some point. How's everything going? Good, good.
He felt a little guilty, but he would never admit that. He had to do what he had to do. The feeling of guilt soon passed.
Oh my! Umm, sorry, Lex. I kinda dropped your new gloves back there. Why not stop by the store, gain some new ones? I hear they keep special ones in the back room. None of that second-hand garbage.
He technically wasn't supposed to have his gloves in the first place, but hopefully the others would look over this.
