Us staff can't see every single topic, so if you see an image theft that noone's done anything about, report it here.
DEFINITION OF IMAGE THEFT:
In a shop:
If they have images they did not create in their shop, it is a theft. If they claim them as their own, that is even worse theft.
Everywhere else:
It's O.K. to use other images in your avatar and sig, as long as:
1.) You have permission to use it
2.) It isn't violating a copyright
3.) You helped to make it
It isn't ok if:
1.) You stole it from someone on the forums [without permission]
2.) You claim you made it when you did not

This applies for PG as well. Uploads are not to be plagirized, and anybody known to be doing so will be banned on the forum (and we could possibly block their ability to view it as well once we figure out how).

So if it is an upload, then will we get everyone to delete the upload as well?
If so, I have three accounts that can help with the deleting of uploads, and access to two computers at any given day.

That's where I had the idea. I KNEW that uploads were mysteriously being deleted BEFORE THE DELETE BUTTON, and I knew posts have been vanishing as well...

I suggest ANY plagirism of ANY kind will result in the automatic deletion of the upload, and a warning/ban to the user.

I can't really do anything about those. It isn't considered anything. There isn't a copyright on any of the game uploads, so it is a free for all. |
