I recently got a complaint from one of our members that some staff (he didn't indicate who) come off as rude. Regardless of the truth of this statement, just remember not to get carried away in arguments, not to be dismissive of complaints or criticisms, and so on.
Be the friendly neighborhood staff member!
Thank you, that will be all.

Well, naturally some come off as rude. People don't like having the rules stated to them. That doesn't mean we have to cater to their every need. If an idea is good, consider it, if not, then don't. Simple.

Qwerty, people don't really mind rules thaaaaat much. Maybe one of the staff was arguing with somebody. Oh, by the way, my Laptop's internet is DEAD, so I won't be able to get on much. Sorry about that! (No, I do not need help fixing my internet.)

Well, then people don't like not having their ideas immediately approved. It's impossible to disagree with someone on that and not come off as rude, ESPECIALLY if they keep pressing things that almost everyone else has disagreed with.
