So me and Dhoom have agreed.
This place needs somewhere to express Music.
Now Qwerty has suggested we take the Art board for this. I argue that not only is Music prominent enough for a seperate place, but a board is also unweildy.
If possible, it would be good to create a blank page on the forum (kind of line when we had the games section for a short while a while back) where we can have one or more playlist players.
People could upload their music, possibly into their own player, and then people could browse other people's selections of music.
It would be pretty awesome.
That having been said, I don't have a player in mind, but if the idea is well supported enough to attempt it, it should not be too hard to find one.

The Art board is practically empty. We don't need to make another board when we already have a board that says "music" in it's description. Music certainly does not deserve it's own board, that would be making two boards for the same thing. We would have to remove the art board.
Plus, how much do people seriously discuss music here? I saw all of one discussion, and that was just today. Even if there was a music board, it would go unnoticed.
We are not a creative arts forum. We are a forum about a Japanese gaming site. Besides, it's not like we could actually make such a thing, it would have to be externally hosted, and I have a name for an externally hosted thing like this: Rosasecta. Or maybe you could try Myspace, I hear they have music.
If people want others to know what they listen to, or share music, or whatnot, why not just make a playlist and give a link to it? That would probably be just as easy as any fancy system we put in. What you are talking about is like a whole other website. One completely unrelated to anything dan-ball-ese.

A music section would bring some livelihood to the forums, and if it was implemented, you could learn some new artists who you just might like. Placing it in a removable box would be the best choice. PRoblem is, I don't know many embeddable music players which allow you to install your own music, or embed it directly. I support this idea 100%. Would make me happy to see it implemented.

www.playlist.com is the place to go if you want to talk about music. They even have a blog. It basically myspace but focus with music. www.playlist.com/user/42208376/playlists^my profile, not the best example as I only use it for the playlist feature. As a side note, you won't be able to find everything like you can on myspace. They even have a place for photos. I say just use the art board and if you love music THAT much then go on myspace or the site I posted above.

Hey, why did Dhoom take my badges? He may not have my QwertyPie badge! Remove it at once lest I remove them myself! Plus, I don't remember you ever being MOTM.
