Listo, you think we can have on the main menu for mods/admins a little thing that pops up and we type in either an IP or a username to get the others? I can help you make it of you want me to...once....I....learn.....how. Nevermind.

perhaps Listo could put in at the top of the page a "quick search" or something, but it's only shown for staff. and if a user name is put in, it brings up the matching IP and vice-versa. that's...probably what you were saying...imma shut up now...

Removing a thread will delete it instead of sending it to trash, right? I just removed a topic, thinking it would go to the trash bin... In the Uploads subboard of the Powder Game board, a guest named hi (of the IP 71.112.173.163) made a thread called "spamming," cursed, and asked to be banned. I kept the IP and posted in here, just in case this...Community member...should ever come back. EDIT: Using IP identification, I realized he also made the post "and Saza is mah hero. you all." This time, I moved it to the trash bin.

See? It is useful!

I didn't reference the list, since I had the IP address from one of the two posts...
...and I really would like the "IP-username" search function that Sandmaster and Spiritbot described, since that would allow us to see if these spammers match any of the 850 or so registered users.
*Creates function, goes on ban-AT-AT spree...*

Well, ozone added it to the bottom of the page...

It would be nice if it could collapse. Other than that, it serves as a nice reference chart for spam search and destroy missions...

what would also be nice is if it were to be shown only to staff...or at least chat mods. right now, it's available for any hacker/"bad person" to see and use. even though it has the last few digits censored, it's still not safe for that to be sitting out in the open like that.

If you'd actually look at other threads in the staff lounge, I have it scripted so only staff may view it. I would never leave that many IPs in the open.

No, it was that way when he installed it... guests could see it, though.

I took it off the SITE for security purposes; It is now remotely hosted. You should be able to see it now.

I have a bit of a situation: a relative of mine has created an account on these forums, and he shares the same IP address that I have. Is this allowed, assuming he stays on his own account?

Yes, it is allowed.

Yes, so I found out from .oZone...
Obviously, I'll make sure he is restricted to his account, and I will naturally stay with my account.
