Awesome.
I have no clue for the new name, but i like the idea of the 3-d, and the trade options. To make it more simulated, couldn't certain buildings auto-generate resources, but we still get some pervisit?

You just tell me what to do. As long as I can get communication between my program and your system, I can render 3D images from your data. But remember, it only works in Internet Explorer, there will have to be an alternate, 2D version.

You could have it output text files with a list of coordinates and buildings at each coordinate. A simple desktop executable could just refer to that file (downloading it from the site whenever it's run/refreshed) and generate it's own 3d version based off of it.

Yes, as I was suggesting, except not desktop... Desktop programs unpopular...

It's a website where people can upload creative stuff. And share it. Rosacities was a little city where you get money for each building people view, which lets you get more buildings.

Ah-ha! I just got Silverlight working, which is capable of running on all browsers. Let me check if I can get D3D in a Silverlight application. If so, I'm giving my end of a 3D Rosacities the green light.

By the way, you CAN'T use the Direct3D library in Silverlight as it is not cross-platform...
