How about we have ☺ as the symbol? Or better yet, d? (☺ is alt-513)
☺ as it is small, happy, looks like a ball.... d as it is the first letter in Dan-ball.
Or we could stick with DBs.
I don't think it really matters that much, however.

It's also Alt-1. But, again, it doesn't matter.
If we did had one, though, it would certainly be a good one.

Alt+158 ₧ Alt+14 ♫ Alt+237 φ Alt+19 ‼ We could also use ~ which is on the keyboard
Pick one, or something else, and settle this!

Didn't the original Dan-Ball Currency symbol look like this; ¤?

You mean that there already is an official symbol? How do we make the ¤ symbol? What is the Alt-code. Also, request 2☺ for posting.

I have done both for you. For future reference, surround the URL of the image in [img][/img] tags and put it all into your signature.

Logical Fallacy: Appeal to Tradition
Anyhow, do we really even need to determine a symbol for the currency? I imagine we should either not have one at all (preferred for its convenience), have one readily accessible without using Alt codes, Meta codes, or Ctrl codes (assuming browsers don't use up all the Ctrl codes), or have a GA design an image to represent a Dan-Ball, such as a miniaturized version of the famous logo.

I don't care if it is a fallacy. It worked, and I'm not discounting the clear evidence that it worked simply because it happened in the past. I'm not talking about tradition, I'm talking about the fact that it has been proven to work. You don't discount Einstein's theories because they were found in the past, do you? Or Newton's?
We don't need one, but having one has advantages. That one worked in the past, there's no good reason it may not work now. It isn't like we HAVE to use it, but it solves some problems of grammar.
Images? Definitely not images. Not how they are formatted. You couldn't copy and paste it with the rest of the article.

I call the False Analogy fallacy on your considerations of discounting scientific theories (although for future notice, Newton's theories are only approximations when velocities are much lower than the speed of light). You should instead have declared the Fallacy Fallacy on my fallacy, since you actually have logical reasons for adding a symbol (e.g. solving grammar problems) instead of having one "for the sake of having had one before."
...but enough of fallacies, since you have demonstrated how mine was wrong to begin with. Concerning images, I never did take into account copying and pasting. Good point.
Alright, maybe a currency symbol will be nice to have, but is there anything that is directly accessible from the keyboard without using more than two keys? An Alt code would be too complicated for some people (especially those who lack number key pads on laptops and must deal with the troubles of meta keys) and too time-consuming for others. Some might not even be able to remember the numerical code for the symbol.

I'm not trying to discount scientific theories. I guess I declare the fallacist's fallacy on your fallacy.

I like this ¤ It is easy to remember Alt+0164 How about no, since I can't type alt code... Why not just $, seeing as it's already used in multiple currencies.

¤ is the generic currency symbol, so I don't see why it'd be any better than using $. They're both real currency symbols, but one is a lot easier to type, and is more commonly associated with money.

I suppose so. Without an Appeal to Tradition fallacy, I can't really support otherwise. I guess I just like that ¤ was used in the past.
Plus, $ makes a relation to "Dollar", and we don't want to confuse dan-balls with money. A weak argument, but really the only difference.
