About a few years ago, I had these ideas. Figured I should speak up.

Flinger/slinger *a better name would be appreciated*
Flingers are a bit like whippers, but their attacking method is different. They use whips, but with a spike-like thing on the end so that it sticks into an enemy. Instead of swinging the weapon, it throws it straight into one. Then, it lifts them up in an arc and onto the ground behind it. It can hold onto an enemy until it dies or the flinger is hurt. Every weapon does damage on contact, then more every time it gets swung and hits the ground. If an enemy slams into another enemy, they both get damaged. Affects like thunder and fire happen while in mid-air, while ice and poison happen during the swing. Freeze happens when it lets go. A boss is extremely heavy, so it is hard to lift. Stationary enemies, like trees and mushrooms, are really hard to lift. If they do get lifted, than they die instantly. Flying enemys try to get away, so they mainly get held to the ground so that they can be hit by all. If an enemy is to hard to lift or a flying enemy is to hard to hold down, the ranger lets it go.

+STR = can lift heavier enemies.
+DEX = how fast an enemy goes in mid-air (determines impact damage)
+MAG = magic attack/elements, chance of piercing through to another enemy and lifting them both (adds to the weight of the lift)

I'm unsure of what to name the weapon, so what would be a good name? knife-on-a-rope? Sling would be my idea. This needs help.
starter weapon: (put name here) AT: 1-3 AGI: 15-20 RANGE: 50/60 (I'm unsure which would be better)
Opening street: Fire (name here) At: 2-4 Agi: 15-20 Range: 50/60 magic: type: Fire At: 1 or 2 - 3 or 4 (I'm unsure) MP: 10 Duration: 1-3 seconds (hooray for unsurity! (unsure, if that doesn't make sense))
I also had an idea that a weapon could let the enemy go in mid-air to fling it across the stage. It would be slammed 3 times, then flung. When it hit the ground, it would take 2 or 3 times the damage.
later weapons could have better speed, poisoning while being thrown, lightning doing the same, etc. etc...

I thought that it would be cool if randomly in some stages that there could be a wall that could be attacked. It would be an obstacle that prevented you from going forward unless you destroyed it or went over it. Or a chest could randomly be put into ANY level, but it would be rare. Inside this chest would be gold and rare weapons... Sometimes a rare monster could be found in the level with high attack and damage, life, good drops. Perhaps there could be a "storm" in the level, and lightning could fall to hurt the rangers. A volcano would be cool, whether you go up it or not. If you go up it, fire could come down sometimes, or a volcano in the background could erupt, and fire would rain down on the rangers. A level could be inside of a skyscraper/city where you had to find keys and press buttons, and go up an elevator would be really cool too. Maybe a turret could be mounted to a wall. In this city, there could be some guys that attack the enemys with you - allies. Your rangers don't attack them, and they help you get rid of the enemys. Perhaps a graveyard where when you get near a grave or something, a zombie stick or ghost comes out. Could even be a swamp area with purple water under giant lily pads. The lilys could move, and the water would hurt the rangers.

I think that there could be some enemies that can burrow underground, like a sand snake. Some enemys could be eggs, and are really weak. If you don't kill them fast enough, they could hatch into really strong enemys. There could be an enemy that give benefits to the others, like an aura, healing them, or even bring them back to life.

I'm not the first to say this, it would be cool to have a storage, and you have to pay to expand the amount of items you can store inside. Perhaps a place where you can enchant your items to have more damage, higher gold drop, pretty much like compo items. Also not the first to say this, a place to change classes... For a (large) price. Maybe even a place to buy stats (not levels) for ONE ranger. Could even have an arena where you place a bet, and if you win you get double the money bet. There could be three types: Boss, Tough enemy, or large group. If you lose, you don't get a game over, but you lose the bet money.

I thought that it would be cool if you could find a RARE weapon that can't be bought in the shop. It could be like a double fire poison arrow, or a knockout glove (high speed and damage), Excalibur, spas 12 shotgun, Storm (thunderstorm AND blizzard combined). Things like that. And the magician needs a poison weapon. Maybe an attack that sends a spike out of the ground to damage enemies, too.

Again, not the first, it would be nice to have an armor slot, with something like:
BREASTPLATE:
defence: 3
resistances: 50% fire, poison immune
weaknesses: thunder
To have some health items in the inventory would be nice. Maybe gladiator could dual-wield. (I've heard that it won't be implemented, but I have to put it here anyways) It would be cool to control a ranger with the arrow keys. Maybe a dark type could be added, with %5 chance of instant death, but doesn't work on bosses.
And now for my favorite, SpEcIaLs! Specials are different, and depend on class. In order to use one, there would be a purple bar under the magic bar. After about 25 - 50 hits, it could be used. These *coughBADcough* ideas are as follows:
Sniper: shoots 5 - 10 arrows with poison and fire.
Magician: Shoots a large beam of energy through the environment and enemies, probably something else thats more balanced like a large spike or something.
Boxer: Hits extremely hard with multiple affects for a few seconds.
Gladiator: Sword lengthens, and can deal large amounts of damage with elemental affects.
Priest: Gives off a large amount of aura, tripling damge and 3 defence around him, and can shoot off a couple of large attacks.
Gunner: Could shoot for free, really fast
Whipper: Deals massive damage for 5 hits
These aren't the best, I know. I'm begining to get sick of typing this, so I wasn't sure of what to put. Give some ideas!
Now that you've read this large chunk of information, whaddya think? Am I obsessed or WHAT?
