Well, the year will be but what you mean is that we're all going to die horribly, which wont happen.

Exactly.
And Kyoto, stop either being a total fanatic or some person who is racist against muslims. I'm pretty sure that you practice Islam, but it's not like I'm running around on every thread saying "Praise Jesus." If I did that, I would be a freaky evangelical.

Yay! Neutral karma!
Back on topic.... thou shalt not believe in 2012
Belief in 2012 is proof of thine wish for worshipping another god, a tainted, unholy god.

This might explain it.According toa video there is a cycle of events. Something happens once every 11 years. The last event was the Twin towers being crashed down. The one before that was A president primising owrld peace. Next event is scheduled for 2012. Its to do with the illuminati, the masons and a magnetic field cycle of the sun , which takes 11 years to do.
All complete smegging rubbish though.

TDM, that is a fail. In fact, pretty much every cyclic aspect of the sun takes 12-13 years. Anyway, it's impossible for you to go and look back at history and say that.
I assume that it was a joke, with you saying that in 1990 "a president promised world peace"

Me detuve cuando pasó tanto tiempo en la construcción ...
De todos modos, el ciclo solar es de 11 años-ish, pero generalmente significa que sólo el aumento de las tormentas solares.

STOP! STOP WITH ALL THE SPANISH!
And the solar cycle is I believe between 11.5 to 12.5 years and even then the next solar maximum will occur in 2016 or so.

I've heard of this, and I personally don't believe it. And I know who the "Senile old man" was that you're talking about. He was Nostradamus, he supposedly saw visions of the future. I know that the Mayan Calendar ends in 2012, but that is no reason to go about thinking the world will end. They had to end the calendar at some point, which by coincidence is 2012. An old Society is no reason for mass panic.

Nostradamus didn't predict 2012, and even if his musings were misinterpreted he apparently predicted many events that occurred over the last few hundred years, such as 9/11 (9.11)
