I'm absolutley fed up with it. I can't access my E-mail, i can't log in at Bungie.net, i can't access my Instant messeger, i can't even get to MSN.com.
I've had it. I can't take it anymore. And i don't know why these pages simply refuse to load. Is it a side effect of my computer? Out of necessity i have stopped turning it off - it doesn't reliably start - and things seem to be working, except nothing is ever reset and i can't seem to log out - i can switch users. But not actually log out. Or at least not last time i tried.
To put it simply, my computer is a mess and i don't know why. I havent tried accesing my mail in IE yet. But i don't feel like Firefox is causing it.

I'm no computer troubleshooter, but there are some things that I think you should attempt. Make sure that you keep up with appropriate updates, and ensure that your computer gets some off time. Figure out why it won't start up reliably and fix the problem.
A security check (e.g. virus scan) and a disk defragmentation would not be bad ideas either, although the defrag probably won't solve any of your problems.

I hadn't thought of that. I'll ruin a defrag tonight.
I am running windows XP media center edtion, a version of professional. Its only SP2, though. Because of my computer model and make of processor, i can't upgrade without stumbling through severe problems. Last time i did this i am pretty sure it resulted in my need to run a system restore.

Also, try uninstalling everything you know you will never use. There are little games the computer comes with, sometimes those can make up for a little drive space.

No worry guys, i fixed it. Thanks for the advice sandmaster - i try to keep relatively uncluttered.
I forgot about the Defrag though. Wouldn't hurt to run one tonight, sience it wont do anything else.
