Part 1
It is the dream of every child to think that there is something more special than normal life. They fantasise of magical realms and worlds of heroes and villains. They also imagine that they could one day live in those dream worlds, riding high in the sky on a dragon or any other mythical being. But what they don't know, however, is that these worlds exist. But it's just matter of finding them, and if you want to go, of course...
There are the Watchers, they ride the sunset skies and the wandering worlds, searching for prey. These phantoms of creatures are created from the worlds they came from- the Dreamworlds. Because the Universe is infinite, everything that is imagined has to exist. For instance, if a child imagines his own world, that exists, and that is where that child belongs. The Watchers do just that, trying to take the children the those worlds. But if they are not taken to them, the Watchers soon die if there is no place for them to exist. The Watchers infest their dreams and whisper to them in their sub-conscious, calling:
Come...
And now the Watchers are looking for a new feast. They glide the infinite nothingness of space, watching the stars and galaxies drift past them, searching...Wait, what was that? A new planet , with a large population, many children and above all, more dreams. As the Watchers turn their heads and fly towards the planet, they discover its name...Earth.
Part 2
James turned in his sleep, restless. He was having a very strange dream, his mind played over bits and pieces of the previous day. James imagined:
A world of rocks and shining suns, and a domininating spire of gleaming marble that was shrouded by the light pink clouds dotted around in the aqua blue sky. The mind's eye of James drifted along the landscape, hearing only the whipping winds. However, something new was fading in, a voice, something that wasn't meant to be there...James struggled to hear, but soon he could deffrenciate it. He made out the word:
Come...
I wi-
BOOYYY!
James jumped awake, suddenly alert. He was so sure that dream was real. He felt fustrated at his parents for calling him early, the whole thing felt so good. After another shout from his parents, he got up and started his new day. It was the start of the new school year after the summer holidays, and he had been out in the Welsh hills the day before, and he was exhausted. And as he went down to breakfast, the dream had not slipped out of his mind.
So began his dreary school routine again, finished with dull Maths. When James flopped onto his bed at night, he dreamed again.
Come...
I will
James had vanished.
To be continiued...
