Any posts that are less than 10 words, should count as spam...
I think it just would stop a lot of 2-5 word posts that take no effort at all...
Who agrees?

Not me.
(Btw, before you even start, I did this on purpose because it proves my point. We don't need some annoying rule like this because then people can't just just yes or no without having to put in more words than they need.)

Yup, I don't agree with it either...We may be forced to do 10 words that we don't need so those words may be spam...How about lowering the limit to 5?

I don't agree with either. People would start putting random, unnecessary words in their posts. This would actually increase the amount of spam, not decrease it. I vote nay.
Also what Forsaken said. When you vote for something, you don't necessarily need to explain why if you don't want to.

It depends on the content...

Vacon's post and TDM's post both have under 10 words.
If we add this rule, it will not result in a decrease of spam, but in an increase of spam.

I guess you both are right, but I have been seeing too many:
Yes, definitely (reffering to the post right above him/her)

but I mean they are doing that to a normal thread with no voting....
anyways... how about less than 5 words, if they are not voting for something?

I don't think this should be a number thats set in stone. Its easy to see if a post is spam. If it is saying something pointless like "okay" or "cool" then it is spam, but sometimes short answers are good. I don't like this rule, I think we are smart enough to tell what is spam and what not.

I agree with ggoodie, it really depends on the quality of the post, not the quantity.
