What? It can't be!
You should check both the first and last pages of the trash bin for your delete test.

I know a code that makes it go there if you need one... Wait, did it used too?
Also on a completely different note, where did chat go?

Yes, they used to go to the trash bin directly.
But I refuse to believe it doesn't anymore. I still think Pickleman hasn't looked hard enough (there's 35 pages in the trash bin).

You didn't remember? The trash bin code stopped working long ago, so we removed it. It isn't in the headers/footers currently, anyway...
You didn't remember that?
Point is, it's gone forever.

It stopped working. We all got in the habit of moving the threads, I guess we never bothered.

What do you mean it stopped working??? Codes don't just randomly stop working!! Either someone messed with it or they put in an incompatible code.

If it was from the H/F, then it was removed months ago by someone, so I presume. If it was built-in (i.e. part of the site), then I don't know what happened.

It's part of the H/F.

Maybe someone deleted a line of code, accidentally, when the were doing something else...
I dunno, I was a global moderator or assistant admin then. No H/F or high staff access.

I doubt I was even staff when it happened, but no matter: I notice that there are recycle bin codes in ProBoards Support. Would one of these be what we had?

probably...
I use one on my site....
I think we should make the archive for threads older than a month and not allowed to be posted in... (and veiwable but not postable)
and the bin for anything breaking the rules...
good idea or not?

@gv: Yes I can even just go get it from my forum quick. ~Memzak~, Yes, I think That would be a good way to get rid of the threads, while still letting people see our past. We could divide it up into subboards for each actual board.

It would be a good idea for old topics to be automatically locked or moved to the trash or recycle bin. With that we wouldn't have to worry about bumping, unless the bump is a day before the locked or along those lines of that.
Going on into a different approach, I believe we should also add two other forum layout codes: Category Splitter and Side Bar. The category splitter will help the forum look more organized and it will also provide us possible adding of rounded corners in the near future. The side bar could be used to place the chat in, making it a bit more professional looking, rather than having it at the bottom of each page.
There is also codes that Ggoodie has on his site, which lets the categories collapse by a button if the user does nor wish to see them and use mini profiles.

We have collapsible boards built-in, if I am correct...
As for the sticky divider, I will get that in now...

I dont think you do. They aren't on my test forum, and i copied the H/F directly from here.

You have H/F access?
Anyway, if we do have it, it's on the catalog and not working.

No, its easy to get the H/F. You just view the source code of the page. I can see the H/F, just not modify it.

I've done that, too, but how do you know you are getting ONLY the H/F? All the extra stuff is included, too. You may be copy/pasting some stuff outside the H/F.
Also, remember that we have the global H/F, and also the main H/F, etc. How can you tell the difference?
