I think my Stick Ranger save is complete. I have a Gladiator, Sniper, Magician, and Priest. They are level 25 and all of them have level 12 stats. (Str= 12, Dex= 12, Mag=12, HP updated 12 times...) My gladiator has a lightsaber with a Crit Card and an Onigiri card. My Sniper has a quad arrow with bullet's card and a crit card. My magician has a Thunder with topaz and Bullet's card. My priest has a staff of ice with a sapphire and aquamarine.
I have every book, and every level is complete. This setup of weapons and compos has worked out well for me, so if you're desperate for a setup, feel free to give it a try. Of course, the best setup is always what you think is best.
I'll be looking forward to the next version. =]

Of course, the best setup is always what you think is best. Although you all can try yoshicircuit's setup, I cannot stress the complete importance of the quote above. WHAT IS BEST IS ALL RELATIVE TO USER.

WHAT IS BEST IS ALL RELATIVE TO USER. Huge ditto here. P.S. are there anything worth noting in the inventory? If you have stuff such as the medals and certain cards, your account would be awesome for testing game mechanics.

Well, how much money do you have now?
I'm betting it took a while to get enough to buy every Book so far. Last ones are SO expensive...
At least to me. ._.
EDIT: Also, I'm not cheating off your setup in my new comic, it was just a coincidence.
Yup.
Totally a coincidence.

I would imagine that many people would attempt a "one of each" approach, under the illusion that such a setup would be the best in providing a little bit of everything. I do not follow such an approach, and instead have a priest, a sniper, and two magicians.

In my "complete" game, I have two gladiators, a sniper, and a magician, but in my 'comic-based' game I have exactly that team, the Priest/Magician/Gladiator/Sniper combo.

Actually, I tried having an entire team of boxers, and it worked out pretty well until I got to Grassland Whatever-the-number-for-the-one-with-five-thousand-flying-enemies-is.
I kind of had to lift the boxers in the air and drop them at just the right time so they punched the air and hit the enemies. Didn't work out too well.

One almost always needs at least one ranged stick ranger, although for me it seems that no melee stick rangers (love the oxymoron) are necessary to complete the game.

Three magicians with one glad is my favorite team, although I'm falling in love with the gunner's bazooka. (Though I prefer a little more range.) It's all about what you prefer. In my "complete" game, I have two gladiators, a sniper, and a magician, but in my 'comic-based' game I have exactly that team, the Priest/Magician/Gladiator/Sniper combo. I see the boxer isn't a popular choice around here. Two gladiators is an interesting choice. The boxer has so little range that everything can hit him. With the glad at least you can dodge a little bit. The boxer is only good when you get an Onigiri card, and even then it's still hard to keep him alive without a priest.

4 snipers are super cheap. With bullet's card, they can fire 36 arrows dealing like 20 damage. With 4 magicians, you can do thunder, blizzard, volcano, and freeze together. Sort of like you get to change the weather.

4 snipers are super cheap. With bullet's card, they can fire 36 arrows dealing like 20 damage. Bullet card to octo arrow? What a waste - it's only increse the damage by 1/8 = 12.5 % You have critical card - 25% and yellow crystal 20% attack increese. Bullet card is perfect when you have less then 5 arrows (triple shot -> extra arrow is 33% attack bonus).

Hmmm... Good setup you could also try Priest, Sniper X3 I find I don't like snipers. The curve of the arrow throws off my aim. Oddly enough I also don't like priests. Since I normally have one glad/boxer on my team that's fighting on the other side of the map, the priest he only gives a bonus to the two remaining stick men. I'd have to level up to level 25 before I would get enough attack to make up for the loss of one ranged guy.

Well, different people have different perspectives on what is considered "cool." Everything is relative except for the speed of light.
