We still have contests. However, nobody has any new ideas for contests. As such, we have noting to go off of.
Oh, it was supposed to be done alright. Nobody entered. Wait, not the contest I was thinking of. I was waiting for the other judges to give their input, but nobody did. I guess it was eventually forgotten.

Wait, there are staff contests?

Whomever mentioned staff contests? If you mean staff-only contests, no. That board is where we judge contests.

Oh, I read the URL and it said staffcontests somewhere in there, so I thought there were staff only contests.

We need to get contests back on track. I believe we need "Contest officials".
These would be staff who pretty much control the contests, Similar to "Contest judges" except they are just normal, existing staff. They take care of the contest board/s and other staff cannot do their jobs.
Just an idea. There need not to be another staff rank.

I agree, Vacon. We just need existing people to do the jobs.
Since I'm not too busy, I'd like to volunteer to be a Contest Judge.

I USED to be a contest judge, but I'm busy now... However, there are not many contests, so I'll volunteer, too. I mean, it's fine judging n'all, but I need other people to post their opinions, too!
TSL, did you just call Vacon Qwerty? I didn't mention existing people doing the jobs...

I would be glad to be a contest judge in addition to shop mod. I mean, I don't have much to do around the shop area, seeing as it's just making sure that shops are okay, and doing Dan-Ball transfers. Speaking of which, Dan-Ball transfers are getting to be a hassle, so I am going to post a thread in there asking them to state all transaction in that thread, so I can run through and make them quickly and efficiently.

I volunteer.
3 Officials? Sounds good to me.
Another note: Staff that aren't officials can enter contests. Only the officials judge. They also approve contests. You know. Like the old system.

TSL, did you just call Vacon Qwerty? I didn't mention existing people doing the jobs... Sorry, I wasn't thinking straight. Anyway, now that we have 3 officials, what contests are there at the moment that need to be judged? We should jump right in.

... Erm. No, we don't have three officials. We have four people who volunteered to be contest judges. So who is a contest judge, and who isn't?

We can have four people...
Should we bring back the "Contest Judge" rank?

No, no, no. Absolutely not. We don't need overspecialization like before.

That was my point exactly.

And yet, it's the lack of contest judges that caused this in the first place. Sure, we don't need overspecialization, but we also don't need overgeneralization, if there is such a word.

Its not "overgeneralisation" if we are not giving them their own staff rank. There will still be the same amount of judges.
Maybe the staff who are "Contest officials" get a special badge to put in their Custom title?

Or we just use the "Judge" badge...

Yeah, that's what it's there for. what contests are there at the moment that need to be judged? We should jump right in. No one has answered my question yet.

We should approve the calculator and history contests, then we wait, then they turn into something to judge!
We really should announce the winners of the chain reaction contest, too.
