If i'm correct, the Proboards TOS says that the Ads can not be removed. It does NOT say that they cannot be moved
Now i normally don't care, because i have AdBlock Plus, and i have that frame blocked. But using another computer, i realise that they do appear, and they are Belgium-ing ugly.
I propose that we (by which i indirectly mean Ggoodie, if he's up to it) relocate the ads that appear at the top of the page into the forum, betweent the Quick Reply and the chat(s). This allows them to be more out of the way, less intrusively ugly, and so on so forth.

I looked, and i don't see anything particularly against it, but the people at Proboards Support always say its against ToS so im not sure.

We can move it just fine, just not block it.

Okay. Well with it now well established that it is not a violation of the TOS, i think its a really good idea. Anyone else?

I don't think it's TOO ugly up there.

I do.
I don't really care, as I have the entire frame blocked out. I can't see any ads up there when on my home compy.

Then how do you think it's ugly? It'd be uglier below the chat, near the affiliate section. Even at the very bottom, it would be two ads in a row. If we do decide to move it, we already have a code in place moving it: It was originally below the banner.

Becaues at support they say its against ToS i played it safe when i moved it.
The code in place does not actually move the google ad. Instead, it moves the banner. The code creates a node out of the welcome table and moves it to a div within the headers. So basically, it doesn't move the google ad up, it moves the welcome table down.

Actually it would be. The ToS says the ads have to be visible on every page. I'm not sure why moving them is against ToS, but i think it might be that moving them reduces the visibility because users dont see them right away.

I certainly hope so...

They're not about to shut a site down over a misplaced ad. Certinally not with a record such as ours.

Either way, ads are temporarily disabled.
