Armored Corps | Aireal Corps | Naval Corps | Army | Air Force | Navy | Battalion | Division | Fleet | Regiment | Task Force (Aireal Task Force) | Task Force (Naval Task Force) | Company | Wing | Capital Ship | Platoon | Squadron | N/A | Fireteam (Armored Fireteam) | Fireteam (Aireal Fireteam) | N/A |
Capital ShipAcquiring a hierarchy unlike that of the other two branches, the lowest position is that of a Capital Ship. Capital Ships are ranked as being equivalent to Companies and Wings, but their combat effectiveness may vary from that. Furthermore, while tier three units are usually led by Lieutenants, Ships are actually commanded by Captains. Task ForceTask Forces are groups of ships anywhere from 3-5. FleetFleets are large groups of ships ranging anywhere from 4-6 Task Forces in strength. It is not uncommon for Task Forces of the same fleet to never meet while operating on the same theatre. NavyNavies consist of 2-3 Fleets. Naval CorpsNaval Corps Command reports directly to Phoenix HIGHCOM and to the Commander of the Phoenix Himself.

This means that the Naval Corps is a rather impressively large entity, commanding respect from all other forces, including the Galactic Empire.

Less so than the other corps.
The Phoenix Base is located in Antartica. Merely moving troops around requires both freighters and typically an escort detail. The same applies for massive amounts of cargo. They can also be invaluable during wartime.
Generally, cargo across land is moved by rail (usually under the jurusdiction of the IOSRC) and rarely is the armored corps not self sufficent.
Off hand, i'd have to say the Phoenix Military possesses about 80-100 Capital Ships, and an impressive fleet of Armor Transports, Freighters, and Tankers. Naturally, most of these are kept home.
