The "sniper" has a failing range... they should increase the ranger of the snipers. "sniper" are supposed to shoot far, but it only has a range of 90 which is shorter then most bosses. they should call him "archer" or something.. makes more sense lol

Well, it depends on the level and also on the weapon. That's why I prefer triple arrow despite having many more expensive arrows from higher levels.

I suppose one way could be to make the shots from bows other than Triple Shot and Quint Shot, travel more directly at ground enemies; I placed a Sniper armed with a Poison Arrow very close to a Green Smiley Walker in the Opening Street level, and noticed that when the Sniper fires a shot, the arrow travels upward at a significant angle (about 80 degrees) before coming down onto the enemy. If the same Sniper was attacking a flying enemy, fair enough, but I feel it is stupid that the Sniper has to fire shots upwards in order to attack enemies on the ground, because by the time the shots actually land on the ground enemies, the Sniper may have take quite a bit of damage from enemies at this point, even while close to other Stick Rangers.

Str = range increase There a card for it also there are two weapons with greater range compare to other bows.
I see no problem with it.

Dude... Snipers have the longest range of characters.... IN THE GAME! Quint shot and triple shot OWN in the range, area, witha whopping 130. And add str to increase range, and you have an ubersniper. If you really focus, you can outrange almost anything (almost, because unlimited range enemies)

Quint shot is epic in certain situations. It's important to use different bows for different situations...

I ALWAYS have around 3 or 4 different weapons for each ranger in my party, based on different situations.
Anywho, 'sniper' would just be another thing confused in translation. I honestly don't care.

I would have thought that the "Sniper" should really be called the "Bowman", since most of the bows don't really have the range to justify the name class name, "sniper"...

Yeah, but again, it may have been a translation error. And they do have the greatest range (on some weapons) compared to other enemies.

Agreed; it was probably just a translation error. If it had been called "archer" or similar, would we even be having this conversation?

no, i didn't change anything. before the sun shrine weakening i think ther was a fear element to the boss, some of my characters (who were turned ito on) dragged beside the boss refused to attack.
