The goal of this would be to make the most impressive program at, or under, 100 lines of code. If it's something in html (javascript) none of the html tags count except the ones that are part of the actual program. No, tags for user interface elements DO NOT count. That would give Visual Basic (mah language) a significant advantage since user forms can be generated in a designer without code. The program can be in any language. The most impressive program wins, factors include...
Functionality Code elegance WOW Lack of errors/bugs
The prize should be smallish and the contest timefram a bit short, if not many people join that's fine.

Of course, we would need programmers. Do we really need "Code Elegance"? Also, should we at least give it SOME category, besides "impressive"?

code elegance can be scrapped I guess. Also, the categories, as I have stated, are:

We have enough people, but we need to assign point values to the categories. Minus code elegance. After all, it IS the final product that counts.

Whatever you think is best. I think the deadline should be May 10th... Maybe longer, but not too long...

I just finished my program a moment ago with about 15 lines to spare. Ended up doing a desktop program. But, umm, how important is code elegance? It's rather inelegant, if workable.
Oh, and since my language is object and event based, the code is cut up strangely, just a warning.
Edit: Oh my god, it's running so fast that I had to put in a frames per second limit. I think the WOW factor of mine is that it causes seizures.

Wait, you're all entering.
So....who's going to judge?

The normal judges, I guess. The ones with access to the judging board.
I'm going to qwerty-approve this is just a bit.
